The Fund’s investment objective is to replicate the price and the performance, before fees and expenses, of an index that provides exposure to companies involved in uranium mining and distribution or in projects related to the construction, engineering and maintenance of nuclear power facilities and nuclear reactors, equipment and technology or services to the nuclear power industry development and commercialization of nuclear fusion technology or molten salt nuclear reactor research as well as exchange-listed funds that track the spot price of uranium or invest in physical uranium.

Yeah, funds, ETFs and stocks, everything plummeted today! It had to come, but unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to foresee when it would come. This will turn around, and then it's just a matter of buying, if one has something to buy with then…. Monday will unfortunately probably be as sad as Friday, Wall Street continued to fall after Germany closed and the difference will be baked into the opening price when Germany reopens on Monday. Just have to hope that Asia turns up during the weekend, that will help considerably.
·20.5.Why has this one performed so much better than DNB Nuclear Energy? Restrictions?
The DNB fund has more exposure to industry and companies with more peripheral exposure to uranium price / uranium mining (Cameco, Denison mines, Nextgen etc.). Believes Van Eck is around 50 % towards such, while the DNB fund has around 20 %, so when the uranium price increases, the price of this rises much more sharply than for the DNB fund (all else being equal).
