The Fund seeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree Battery Solutions Index (the “Index”). In order to achieve this objective, the Fund will employ a "passive management" (or indexing) investment approach and will invest in a portfolio of equity securities that so far as possible and practicable consists of a representative sample of the component securities of the Index.

24.8.Please forgive me my stubidity: But where does the value of etf's in general comes from? Same way that in index funds, only it updates more often? I apologize from everybody, that I was so bold and bought the fund couple days ago. And therefore it's value dropper some 4 %. But batteries are quite significant bottleneck in todays megatrends, and I do have a solid trust in engineers and scientist of all sorts. Most likely they will solve this broblem, like many others in past years. So in the long run my boldness have caused only a temporary drop, which people buying after me have benefitted from. I hope you were not planning to sell just about now.
The value of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) is in practice determined by two factors: the value of the underlying assets (NAV) and supply and demand on the stock exchange. If the ETF follows an index, the weighting of the shares is usually changed every quarter or half-year to match the index. Active ETFs, however, can make changes daily.
