- ·4 t sitten · MuokattuBig news that I haven't seen anyone talk about. The second largest hyperscaler in the world (Brookfield) said this on their Q1 call in response to a question: "To your questions around growth and what we're seeing, maybe to point to something tangible, and it's very representative of what we're seeing in the market is the first deal we did in our AI infrastructure fund was our partnership with Bloom Energy. That was announced, I want to say six or nine months ago, a $5 billion partnership." "We are already in conversations to expand that partnership, not by percentages, but by multiples. And that's very reflective of the opportunity set and the scale that we expect to play." As we know, the $5 billion deal from Brookfield that came last year was what proved that Bloom can get large contracts and now Brookfield will continue to collaborate with Bloom on new projects. A megadeal could potentially come soon!·2 t sittenInteresting observation! However, I'd like to challenge a couple of things: Firstly, Brookfield is not a hyperscaler — they are an asset management firm that invests in data centers, not a tech giant that operates them themselves like Microsoft, Amazon, or Google. That changes the narrative a bit. Secondly — "conversations to expand" is not the same as a signed agreement. How long do you expect it will take from conversations to a real deal? And what is your thesis on what "multiples" specifically means — are we talking $10B, $15B, $25B? I agree that it's a strong signal, but what is your view on the risk of it dragging on or never materializing?·1 t sittenMade a mistake. They are building for hyperscalers. So roughly the same. And regarding the second question, one does not know if a contract is already signed. If we knew that, there would be no informational edge left and the stock would have been up a lot already. That is a risk one must be willing to take. When he says "multiples", I assume this is a large contract they are considering. But who knows. This is a very high beta leverage bet on AI buildout, so not an investment for the faith of heart exactly. But as said, if the market already knows it, there is no edge left. I see this as a very good signal at least.
- ·7.5.Those who are in the red understand that a quarterly report was due today, is that why? does it show something disappointing?
- ·1.5. · MuokattuFor Bloom Energy (BE), the estimates for 2026 and 2027 reflect a company expected to finally achieve sustained profitability, driven by high demand for power for data centers. Forward EPS (Earnings per share): Estimated EPS for 2026: Analysts expect an average of 0.48 USD. Estimates range from a low of 0.06 USD to an optimistic estimate of 0.81 USD. Estimated EPS for 2027: Expected to rise significantly to an average of 1.02 USD. This represents tremendous percentage growth from the marginal results in 2025. Forward P/E (Price/Earnings ratio) Based on a share price around 13.30 USD (as of May 1, 2026): Forward P/E (2026): Is approximately 27.7x. Forward P/E (2027): Is approximately 13.0x. Assessment: The significant drop in P/E multiples from 2026 to 2027 shows that the market expects a strong scaling of earnings. The stock trades at a premium compared to traditional industry, but lower than many renewable energy companies that are not yet profitable. Key drivers for Bloom Energy: Data center growth: The company's fuel cells are increasingly used as "behind-the-meter" power solutions for AI data centers that cannot wait for grid expansion. Margin improvement: Management has focused on reducing installation costs and improving the efficiency of fuel cells, which is now beginning to show in the EPS figures. Next report: The company will present Q1 2026 figures on May 7, 2026. REF: GEMINI
- ·30.4.Heard discussed today by Steno, who seems quite competent within tech, but the question is will they be able to deliver more than what is already priced into the stock.
