I disagree. Yes, the latest quarters have been disappointing, but the result is largely due to factors that management cannot control. We have with good probability seen the bottom regarding financial results this quarter. Fractals' business is cyclical, so low demand in one period tends to turn into high demand at a later point in time.
·10.8.Does anyone know what caused the big surge just before closing?
Look at the order book. We're talking about almost no shares, so one should not overinterpret this as a sudden trend shift.
·18.6.What are your thoughts on Fractal? I believe chassis sales will continue to struggle for at least the next two years. Component prices need to come down, and before the AI hype settles, they will remain at "too" high levels. I had a thought that people/companies will start hosting AI agents on their own hardware (on-prem) to avoid being dependent on cloud & tokens. And that such a transition could kickstart chassis sales. But even there, I assume people will have their servers in a rack instead of the chassis that Fractal offers. There are more industries that depend on consumers having proper computers at home (gaming, AAA studios primarily). Somehow, opportunities will open up, but the question is when. And how this stock will fare until then.. I'm down 45% and holding, but I'm waiting to average down my cost basis until we see what the quarterly reports tell us.
