The complaint has been dismissed, and the decision on who gets the contract can be announced at any time. Tomra still has five days to appeal the award itself, but the process has come a long way, and a clarification may be near. For Envipco, this could be important. The company has already built up inventory, capacity, and organization in anticipation of expected activity. This contributed to burdening Q2, but if the contract comes and deliveries pick up, these very preparations could become an advantage. Then Envipco is better equipped to handle higher volume without having to start building up from scratch. It is therefore interesting that the market has reacted so positively after a weak quarter. It seems that the focus is more on future opportunities than on the figures already delivered. If activity increases as expected, Q2 could quickly prove to have been a transitional quarter before a stronger period.

And don't forget that we, even with a delayed Greece, have clearly rising gross revenue. The revenue was just barely below consensus even though consensus included a share of volumes in Greece. The fact that we have a decent share of throughput contracts also means that we have a higher revenue floor each quarter, which will be further supported when we start receiving service revenues in Romania as warranty periods expire.

I don't know if this has come up on the forum yet, but Tomra has lost the appeal case, as expected. This removes an important uncertainty regarding Greece, and in my view increases the probability that a large portion of the machines will go to Envipco/TEXAN. Envipco also already has around 7,000 machines in its announced pipeline for 2026–27, of which approx. 5,400 are linked to British retail agreements. If you add Greece on top of this, we are potentially talking about an opportunity scenario of over 10,000 machines during 2026–27. These are starting to become quite significant volumes.

Envipco yesterday and today is almost a textbook example of how expensive it can be to sell first and understand afterwards. Yesterday, the stock plummeted after the Q2 figures. People saw negative EBITDA, increased inventory, and weak cashflow – and threw the shares out the door. But the interesting thing was why the capital was tied up. Envipco had a full €49.3 million in inventory at the end of the quarter, while the company is building capacity ahead of large European deposit scheme rollouts. Q2 revenue was actually up 13 percent. Then comes the Greece case: Here, it could be a contract of around €100 million for Envipco, and Tomra's complaint may have contributed to delaying the process. This suddenly puts the inventory buildup and the weak cashflow in a completely different light. If Envipco has prepared inventory, production, and organization for orders that have been postponed, partly due to the tender dispute, there's quite a big difference between that and that "the business is going to hell". And today? The stock goes straight up again. It's almost comical how quickly the market can go from full panic to "oh, maybe we should have read a bit more than the headline". Those who dumped the shares yesterday purely on reflex, without understanding what actually lay behind the figures, may very well have given away their shares at a bargain price to people who had done their homework. The stock market is brutal like that. Some read the financial statements, some read the story behind the financial statements – and some see a red percentage on the screen and press SELL.

Is the contract in Greece nailed down now? If so, when will there be an announcement about this?

It's probably not official yet, no. We'll see. The market probably interprets it as the deal is landed.

Here is the news article that mentioned Tomra's complaint, where they state the tender is for €210m. Meanwhile, the FA article mentions a significantly lower amount of €100m. https://www.ekathimerini.com/news/environment/1310645/norwegian-firm-claims-bias-in-e210m-recycling-bid/

It seems like €210m is the total value of the entire tender, while €100m in FA probably refers to the part that may accrue to Envipco/TEXAN.
