Tietoa rahastosta
The investment objective of the fund is to track both the upward and the downward evolution of the MSCI World Information Technology Index – Net Total Return (the "Index") denominated in US Dollars - while minimising the volatility of the difference between the return of the Sub-Fund and the return of the Index (the “Tracking Error”). The anticipated level of the tracking error under normal market conditions is expected to be up to 0.50%.

- 27.7.202427.7.2024Teknologia menee eteen päin koko ajan.2.8.2024·I guess it's the case that "technology" isn't really a sector. Technology supports most sectors, such as e.g. AI, data communication, e-commerce, etc. Right now it is the AI sector that is dragging down the broad technology index. But technology itself will continue to move forward. Ex. DNB Teknologi has a slightly "broader" approach to technology than the Nasdaq index.7.8.2024 · Muokattu·That's right. It is called XLK and is a sector. KL is not a sector. it is a technical feature and there is nothing called AI sector or KL sector "AI, data communication, e-commerce, etc." these are not sectors. these are technology features or technical development A sectors are actual sector ETFs that follow certain stocks. and has a holding Ex in XLK, which is technology, you have all the big technology companies, nvda, msft, appl etc XLC is communication, there you have META, Google, Verzin, Netflix etc Sectors : XLC XLU XLK SMH XLY etc There are 40 of them, and they have sub-sectors The problem is, as I say, that 70% here is big tech and that is what I am quoting. Both JPM and Goldman have forecast these to be one of the worst performers in 25 and 26 (due to where we are in the cycle) and you must not think that what we have seen from tech in 23 and 24 is something that will continue. it has been highly unusual and is due to the fact that absolutely everyone in the whole world has put their money there in times of high interest rates, it has been a safe haven. and that is what you are now beginning to see unravel these seals, in fact the whole S&P is so overpriced, almost double the normal average price for the last 10-15 years and it's like that which never lasts, it's like a rubber band that bursts, and jumps back to its median. just wait. this is not unusual, we saw the same thing last late cycle, I was invested in apple and msft and had 8 years before I broke even again... https://www.google.com/search?q=xlk+sector&oq=xlk+sector&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOdIBCDY3ODVqMGoxqAIAsAIA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 DNB technology is not a pure technology fund, they have telecom, media etc. in the fund * This is also the case in this fund. you even have banks, energy, health and lots of other things in this ETF. there are over 250 holdings in this ETF however, the largest items are the majority and control where the price in the ETF goes. Technology 99.55% 70.87% Industrials 0.40% 3.58% Communication Services 0.06% 10.45% Consumer Cyclical 0.00% 5.92% Healthcare 0.00% 2.21% Financial Services 0.00% 2.14% Real Estate 0.00% 0.35% Energy 0.00% 0.15% Consumer Defensive 0.00% 0.08% the problem is that 70% is big tech. and therein lies the problem. DNB teknooligi is an active fund and has in any case gained weight much better than what a passive ETF can. there they have taken this into account and DNB, because it is active, wants to be able to position itself correctly in relation to the times. a passive ETF that is regulated only on market cap cannot Although technology is moving forward, it has nothing to do with a stock. a stock goes up and down on earnings and not technological marvels. I ran and invested when the internet came. in the beginning, the first 10 years nobody made money on the internet, there were only expenses and it ended up crashing because all companies were priced to make such huge sums on the internet. Once you started making money on the internet, everyone was doing it, so there was no difference between one company and another. it is the same with AI. it will be years (I work in this industry, and we have used it for years) before you see capital flowing in, and when that time comes, these companies have already corrected and been reprized. it always happens and it will happen again. technical development means a lot to few and nothing to most. a thing like AI that is available to everyone, then it comes down to who delivers the best software that solves problems for the best possible money. and as of today we have not seen this happen.
