- 29.9. · Muokattu·I think it's strange that this one is falling so much. Reax has signed several agreements and has had a huge increase in the number of brokers, now exceeding 30,000. They have just started making money. The brokerage houses have overwhelming buy recommendations. It will be interesting to see what happens to earnings, because as of now the situation is a bit strange for me. Even though you use the "priced in" argument, I think it's a bit strange
- 26.8.·At the time of writing, REAX has definitely broken above all significant long moving averages, i.e. for August 26, 2025, the 50-day is at $4.22, the 150-day is at $4.46 and the 200-day is at $4.59. The price is currently at $5.30. Note that the moving averages above together span a small range, so here it is almost either below all of them or above them, which, in my view, should mean that they together constitute very good support. For the record, REAX is of course well above the fundamental 200-week (not daily) moving average, which is way down there at $2.94. The recent upswing is about two things, I think: positioning before the housing market in the US takes off and finally gets a clean bill of health (it's been miserable since after Corona), and also investors who have chosen to invest in a company with great growth opportunities due to the digital solutions. With a positive result for the first time now in Q2, the road ahead should be upwards in the next few years, that is, as long as the housing market in the US loosens up soon, which I think it will, and that even if the Fed, against all odds, does not choose to cut interest rates at the meeting on September 17 (unlikely according to CME Fed Watch). There are most likely at least a few cuts on the way anyway, at least one in 2025 and one or two in early 2026, at least if we are to believe the data and most of the forecasts ("most of the forecasts" means: there are always some doomsayers who predict death and destruction regardless of the data). - 20.7.·REAX is expected to be positive in 2026. And then massive growth in EPS in 2027. The number of analysts following the company is only a handful, 6 according to my fintech. With the housing market in the US at the bottom at the moment, I think there is potentially a big upside here when the Fed starts cutting interest rates again, either in the fall or early in 2026. I believe in at least one cut in the fall. The company makes transactions in the housing market easier via digital solutions, many agents/brokers are flocking to them, Q1 2025 saw an increase in the number of agents by a whopping 61%, has even developed an AI (trendy!). Estimated increased revenue: 44% for 2025, 16% for 2026 and 16% for 2027. If the housing market in the US corrects itself, these estimates may be too low. Therefore, I have to build up a small position.
- 20.7.·So then I'll buy a small position in this one tomorrow, Monday 21.7.2025 - just as I start my vacation, by the way - in anticipation of the Fed starting a new cutting cycle in the fall, maybe as early as September, which will slowly but surely get the housing market going again in the US, which in turn will ensure that REAX really takes off, at least that's my guess. It's important to be out early. Q2 is August 7th. So then there will possibly be some replenishment after that to build up a position.
