They are located on the 3rd floor in a small and somewhat worn building in Ueno in Tokyo. Is there enough space for the employees, or are they often out on business? The leading people in the company seem to have a varied background, and they might not have academic degrees in technology. Possibly they haven't even completed vocational studies. This is a bit unusual in Japan. Out-of-the-box thinking is good, but some direction and concrete products, collaborations, and contracts would be an advantage to be able to refer to. One person may have studied administration in the USA. Could that be for marketing purposes? The auditor has a picture that appears to be cut out from a Teams call. The lawyer, however, looks normal, if one is to say something positive. They have had challenges related to satisfying certain requirements for continued listing on Nasdaq. Initially, I thought this company looked exciting because they operate in a mature and advanced market like Japan. Now, however, I have become more skeptical and will wait to buy shares until I possibly find something more concrete about technology, products, contracts, and references.·16.11.Earlyworks was established in 2018 and was listed on Nasdaq in 2023. Here is a Japanese review of the company. 37 minutes long video, and one can turn on automatic, approximate English subtitles in the settings. The focus is on the Japanese shareholders being discriminated against. Some large Japanese unlisted investors may have had their Japanese shares converted to ADR (American Depositary Receipts) early while others did not get converted to ADR until a few months after the IPO in the USA in 2023.
