Measured move to 9.60 if this doesn't fail. GL- ·2.1.LOL Today was a good lesson in mining stocks. Look at BTG on a low volume day. Up +7 first 30 min, then down -17 and at the end of the day shorters buy back naked shorts and count money. Well, they couldn't buy 500 shares back because I bought them. But looking at the chart,, now there's a double bottom in place and we know what happens afterwards. Love trading. GL
- 30.12.202530.12.2025i just looked at the BTG chart and I saw it. This is forming a cup and handle pattern, the handle being made now, with a measured target to 9.56 with an already established utbytte program. When TA is confirming the fundamentals, enough said. I highly recommend you do your due diligence on this stock. Looks like another equinox or aris next year. GL
·2.1.Two things for @zextar: 1) Jordan has been following Al Jazeera's coverage of the jihadist group in Mali. They are only about 5000 people, they conduct a form of guerrilla warfare, but they can barely control a single town. Their base is in the east of the country, while BTG's mine is located far to the west on the border with Senegal. 2) The second risk is state expropriation. It is not very likely, because the state is a co-owner and cannot operate the mine itself. It was different with Barrick, because the state officials who handled the case from Mali's side had a personal conflict of interest with Barrick's CEO, Mark Bristow (previous dispute in another mining company in Mali).·2.1.Everything you say is true, therefore BTG is cheap. I have done this many years and direct intervention or nationalization I have read about or experienced is in China, Russia, Venezuela, a little in Bolivia, South Africa, and local government in Mexico. Africa, as you say, cannot mine and they desperately need money, jobs, and investment. Look at Congo, never intervention and they are broke. I feel safe here but of course a little skeptical but believe that it will go well going forward. Namibia is safe too and as long as Columbia. SA is so up and down with left and right extremist governments. GL
