AQP was sold on great stories about an incredibly smart way to purify water, by utilizing a membrane with a protein that we, among other things, also use in our bodies. It was a "green" technology. Sustainable, yes, even NASA thought it sounded smart. Lots of storytelling. BUT they forgot to mention the boring properties. That the protein is actually not very robust, and easily gets destroyed by many chemicals, such as chlorine. That it was quite difficult to prove that it was much or even slightly better than existing filters. So it's hard to demand premium prices once the initial euphoria has settled. Because the filters are indistinguishable from each other, and 99% of the parts are identical. They are just more expensive. That's where the party stops.·2 päivää sittenStorytelling, yes, there was a lot of that - and AQP was apparently also with Andreas Mogensen out in space as far as I remember.
·8.1.Bankruptcy is dangerously close. The idea was good and the perspective enormous, but the realities tell a completely different story. If one believes in this company, what does one believe in then? Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? Personally, I can't see it anymore.

With the low share price/market capitalization, there is correspondingly great potential if/when it succeeds. On the other hand, they are expensive to produce, and therefore also expensive for customers. There is no value for money, and so customers do not queue up. It's empty calories.
