5.5.·Can I buy it from ASK savings and is there anything I need to pay special attention to?
5.5.·It is on the positive list, otherwise you would not be able to buy on ASK. I do not know if there is anything to pay special attention to, as the ETF is suitable for ASK. There is a cheaper ETF with India, but which is not on the positive list and therefore cannot be bought on ASK, but for other depots it would probably be more attractive. It has been a long time since I have looked into it. So I can recommend you to download the positive list and then use the search function in Excel/LibreOffice to find the ETF which you can then research further afterwards.
11.4. · Muokattu·Is anyone aware of any particular reason why this differs so much from the NIFTY 50. It seems that the NIFTY 50 has only fallen by -3.84% year to date. But this one has fallen by almost 13%. Is it the content of stocks behind it that makes the difference? It still seems mysterious.
25.7.25.7.Checkout the Conversion rate for Euro to Indian Rupee https://g.co/kgs/NoYBHyH - in the last 1 year, INR has been declining over 10% against EUR. Naturally this will have an impact on the bottom line as we are not trading this ETF in INR, but in EUR. For example, let’s assume that one has invested 10€ in this ETF a year ago, so this person has acquired 900INR worth of ETF a year ago. Assume that the index of this etf value grew by 10%, so now the value of it is 990INR. However, in the EUR currency, that person would not get any return or will be negligible if not negative, because as of now 990INR translates to less than 10EUR which was the initial investment a year ago. So although the value of the index in INR is increasing, the bottom line in EUR is not increasing in the same terms, due to the currency decline of INR against EUR
13.3.13.3.Reading the comments, i saw many are asking why this one is falling !! As an native indian, felt like summarising some points that i have captured in the latest discussions in the stock market community and news channels so as to help .. This one is falling because of many reasons.. 1. Slowing down economy ( which is picking up based on latest number’s ) 2. A negative sentiment when the GOI reduced govt capex and tried to boost consumer capex by reducing taxes ( which i personally think will be a boost in long term) 3. FIIs pulling out money from India because of overvaluation and depreciation of Rupee. 4. Trump Tariffs.. i.e. Global Economic Concerns 5. High market valuations. Specifically in Midcaps and Smallcaps. NIFTY 50 (50 top largecaps ) is below its mean and median averages as of today. It is trading at 19.9 P/E while the median is 20.6 and the mean is approx 22. However the Midcap which is at 37.4 and Smallcap which is at 25.6 is still rich in valuations ..28.3.28.3.india superpower 2030?
