3 päivää sitten · Muokattu·Very interesting and good interview. 👍🏻 It is considered better to take part in (substantiated) information and perceived situation from experts who are active and with a network in the industry, than from media "talking heads". Interesting "facts" in the interview/conversation here such as that "mega traders" are stuck with short positions of around/guessedly 60 billion dollars which are starting to do "really hurt" now in light of recent price increases - (and presumably hence "attacks" against the spot price in order to be able to cover these positions with limited losses) - as well as a concern for upcoming (?) "legs up". Furthermore, that for many years there has been a structural deficiency in the industry where demand/consumption is now greater than what can be produced. "Backwardation" as mentioned and demonstrated by several is also an interesting indicator of the situation, where investors/buyers would rather pay a higher spot price for immediate delivery, than take the risk of waiting for a delivery (which may not come/is possible) at a lower "futures" price. https://youtu.be/RzTLT_U4mWc?si=wyDnlVIhTiMEB4_y "Ed Steer of Ed Steer's Gold and Silver Digest shares his thoughts on silver's run past US$50 per ounce, as well as this week's price pullback, saying that in his view the bull market is just getting started.
