    The problem is that if a lot of wind power is built, a lot of electricity is produced at the same time when it is windy and then the prices go down. That is why companies are trying to find solutions for that. Using the cheap electricity to store in batteries, producing hydrogen and there are a few other possibilities, such as heating water for district heating. But it is a challenge of course. Then you see that the plants are partly standing still even though it is windy and that is due to overproduction (in addition to interruptions for maintenance). It may sound stupid but at the same time you save the plants that are standing still. Each plant can only produce for a certain time before maintenance is required.
