The agreement includes the rollout of 121 trailers distributed across 44 locations throughout the country and is expected to be implemented during the spring. Initially 120 cage trailers. But that's just the beginning, many more are coming, according to a statement from the company. In Sweden. Elgiganten in Sweden. An extension and expansion of the collaboration with lots of new cage trailers. Probably up to 75-100 new trailers. And then today, a big deal in Norway. +121 trailers. Today's press release: The trailer platform Freetrailer has entered into a multi-year agreement with the Norwegian furniture and interior group Skeidar. As part of the agreement, Freetrailer will make 121 trailers available distributed across 44 locations in Norway. The agreement is expected to be implemented during the spring, the company writes in a statement. Freetrailer has not closed any major framework agreements in Denmark recently. If the network effects are as significant as I am convinced they are, what is it that prevents Freetrailer from at least matching U4F's terms? I find it hard to believe it's only about good offers, because partner revenue at FT probably only accounts for about 10% (a shot from the hip)? So there's an opportunity to lower these revenues to increase long-term value creation. Regardless, the moat grows with in-app adds as it increases differentiation - important when the product and service itself are standardized. I agree with your observation that the overall economy plays a role, and U4F has an advantage as they are vertically integrated. The market is large enough in Denmark for both players, but it is a real risk that U4F closes large deals with marquee partners, as that is the only way they can quickly achieve critical mass. A core focus I think FT should focus on (besides expanding the core business) is to differentiate their platform. They need to launch in-app adds to create extra value for partners, and get rental partners onto their platform (e.g. Oscar Biludlejning) to increase the product offering. Reportedly, they were supposed to have launched in-app adds June 2025. I just haven't been exposed to it in the app myself.
