This collaboration now makes it even easier for visitors and residents in Amsterdam. - ·21.8.Donkey and Helsinki As may be known, Donkey recently obtained a license to operate bike-sharing in Helsinki. Approx. 500+ bikes. This agreement should be seen as a supplement to the existing system https://www.hsl.fi/en/citybikes/helsinki operated by CityBikeFinland - a joint venture company between Moventia from Spain and Smove from France. Helsinki is working on establishing a new system and the tender process is underway and actually close to being completed. This also emerged in connection with Donkey's half-year webcast. Thor Möger mentioned it. And Donkey has reasonable/good chances of winning the tender. Donkey had actually previously won the tender in 2025. But due to some legal hassle, the entire process was cancelled and had to start over. I guess that a potential contract could be of an order of magnitude between 4,500 to 6,000 bikes. The 6,000 bikes are realistic if associated neighboring municipalities join the agreement. And expected start-up sometime in 2028. The biggest competitors are probably: Nextbike and Moventia.

Thus, the pipeline is a bit larger than I had assumed - The second half has some extra costs which is why H2 this year looks a bit weaker than it typically is - Ruhr is only 3 weeks delayed.. Düsseldorf 1 month? Thus, I still believe there's a chance for a small positive surprise this current year. We'll see. Overall super positive. Everything is going as it should in terms of following the strategy
