I think it sounds completely reasonable that they have similar technology to their competitors. It rather feels like a witch hunt from SVT/NRK just to create headlines. For example, there are hydrogen buses that have been operating in real traffic for 10-20 years and have 20,000+ hours and a lifespan of 30,000 hours. Then there are stationary systems that have 40,000–80,000 operating hours. Powercell's competitors have this.

Too bad for everyone who has put their hard-earned money into the scam companies. Lifespan: According to internal documents, PowerCell is said to have promised customers (including for Norwegian ferries) a lifespan of 33,000 hours. Internal tests, however, are said to have shown an actual lifespan of only 3,000 hours – thus a tenth of the promise. Internal warnings: Sources from within the company have told SVT that they warned management that the technology is not ready for the market, but that they were silenced ("locket på"). Some sources are quoted as saying it is a "fraud". Technical maturity: Documents from as late as the end of 2025 indicate, according to the review, that the systems are still plagued by fundamental problems that have not been communicated to investors or customers. If there had been no truth in their claims, one might ask why Richard Berkling has kept quiet? I would have gone completely mad if they had lied🙄 I sold mine at 35.80 kr when there was too much negativity circulating about their product, glad for it today.
