Electronic components used in Kitron's production lines are delivered practically exclusively by air freight. Many larger wholesalers also have component warehouses in Europe or the USA. The production equipment itself can be units from a few hundred kilograms to 3-4 tons; here there are manufacturers in both Europe, the USA, and Asia. Some of this probably comes by boat, but it is relatively unproblematic even with a closed Suez, as capacity increases are usually planned 6-9 months in advance.

Kirron and other serious players who trade outside Agder have been expecting this to happen for a long time now, and have taken their precautions.
