It's a bit misleading to say spun off. Kitron started on its own and was independent for a long time, but was merged with sonec which was owned by Kongsberg. So it was partly owned by Kongsberg for a period. But they have cooperated well for 40-50 years.
·8 t sittenSomething will probably trickle down to Kitron here too: Pentagon signs defense contracts worth over 120 billion dollars July 30 06:52 ∙ Finwire General dynamics Lockheed Martin The American Department of Defense has awarded contracts worth over 120 billion dollars to increase the production of Patriot missiles and nuclear-powered submarines, reports the Wall Street Journal. Lockheed Martin receives an extended Patriot contract worth nearly 59 billion dollars, while General Dynamics Electric Boat and HII Newport News Shipbuilding are awarded a contract of 76.6 billion dollars for nine Virginia-class submarines and five Columbia-class submarines with deliveries until 2038. The investment is part of the US's effort to strengthen ammunition stockpiles and shipyard capacity, while global demand for Patriot systems has increased. The contracts still require annual appropriations from Congress. Congressman Joe Courtney says that Congress and the Navy must now increase investments in the industrial base to accelerate deliveries.

Good to see that the tide has turned. After a weak July I am currently up 3.09% in August. The volume has been modest in Kitron, but hope that we can see good upside and a large volume that backs it up going forward.
·10 t sittenWe are probably in what we call an accumulation phase. Then there will be chop chop before we move up again. But we'll see if it breaks the right way then. There is probably a risk of 73kr here.have topped up in the last few days, so now it's just to lean back and wait for the upturn:-)
