·6 t sittenCan the operating margin increase quite a lot going forward? As defense and AI orders become a larger part of the order book, the margin is driven upwards. In recent quarters, the operating margin was 9.6 and 9.4, thus well above the long-term target. For comparison: Q1 2025 - the operating margin was 7.4. Kitron's long-term target of an operating margin in the 9s has already been reached. We know that Kitron's management finds it perfectly fine to be cautious with guidance. This has led to the share price correcting upwards after each quarterly report. It would not surprise me if the operating margin settles in the 10s quite soon.
·9 min sittenIt will increase steadily upwards over the next few years. Kitron is perfectly positioned in the sphere between Tech and Defence.. I hope that Europe will invest heavily in space travel as well. This ties in well with defence regarding surveillance and the need for satellites, which is an important factor in the race when Europe is to be rearmed. This will be an exciting journey in the coming years.
