Kongsberg Electronics: [Kongsberg Gruppen] sold off its own electronics business in 1998 to the company Sonec. Merger: Sonec was merged in the year 2000 with what was then called Kitron. Through this process, [Kongsberg Gruppen] gained a significant ownership stake (around 19 percent) in the expanded Kitron. End of ownership: [Kongsberg Gruppen] remained a large shareholder in [Kitron] for many years, but in October 2016 they sold out completely and divested their approx. 33.4 million shares. Today, the companies function as close partners and subcontractors, where [Kitron] produces advanced electronics for [Kongsberg Gruppen] (including for missiles and weapon systems like Protector).

Lockheed Martin receives an extended Patriot contract worth nearly 59 billion dollars, while General Dynamics Electric Boat and HII Newport News Shipbuilding are awarded a contract of 76.6 billion dollars for nine Virginia-class submarines and five Columbia-class submarines with deliveries until 2038. The investment is part of the US's effort to strengthen ammunition stockpiles and shipyard capacity, while global demand for Patriot systems has increased. The contracts still require annual appropriations from Congress. Congressman Joe Courtney says that Congress and the Navy must now increase investments in the industrial base to accelerate deliveries.

Good to see that the tide has turned. After a weak July I am currently up 3.09% in August. The volume has been modest in Kitron, but hope that we can see good upside and a large volume that backs it up going forward.
·16 t sittenWe are probably in what we call an accumulation phase. Then there will be chop chop before we move up again. But we'll see if it breaks the right way then. There is probably a risk of 73kr here.have topped up in the last few days, so now it's just to lean back and wait for the upturn:-)
