30.1.30.1.January 30, 2026 HAMILTON, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Seadrill Limited ("Seadrill" or the "Company") (NYSE: SDRL) today announced Equinor Brasil Energia Ltda has exercised a one-year priced option for the ultra-deepwater drillship West Saturn. The exercised option adds $114 million to contract backlog and extends the original contract, which commenced in 2022, through October 2027. Seadrill’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Simon Johnson, commented, “The continuation of the contract into a sixth consecutive year reinforces our long-term collaboration with Equinor in Brazil, where we have a shared commitment to delivering safe and reliable offshore operations in a strategically important basin”.·31.1.Update, according to the original contract pasted below, West Saturn had for the first 4 years a day rate of USD 260,000 before extra services such as MPD etc., so the rate will increase to approx USD 312,000, so the figures will improve. The contract value includes mobilization, upgrades and integrated services. The total contract value is estimated at 380 million USD and is subject to final investment decision for Bacalhau by the partnership. Bacalhau is a project in the Brazilian pre-salt area Santos. The field was discovered in 2012 and acquired from Petrobras in 2016. It consists of two licenses, BM-S-8 and Norte de Carcará. – In this contract, we have secured a fixed rate for an initial fixed period, which includes a performance element to enable increased profit by carrying out safe and efficient operations. The West Gemini secured a contract with Sonangol Exploração & Produção, S.A. for work in Angola with an estimated duration of 284 days, expected to begin in late 2025 or early 2026. The Sonangol Libongos received an award from Azule Energy Angola B.V. with an estimated firm term of 525 days, plus priced options beyond this initial term. The program is expected to commence offshore Angola in the third quarter of 2025 in direct continuation of the current contract. There are currently three drillships bareboat chartered into Sonadrill, a Seadrill-owned unit, the West Gemini, and two Sonangol-owned units, the Sonangol Libongos and Sonangol Quenguela. Seadrill earns a management fee for providing management, operational and technical support to Sonadrill.
