- ·2.10.2025Am I the only one who wonders why people would even invest in accounting firms today? In the old days, I used my accountant at least 1-2 times per month. I had various questions that only an accountant could answer. Today, I hardly use him anymore. AI models can answer almost everything for me. In addition, I book almost everything myself, through various apps. Yet my accounting bill is larger than ever. It makes no sense. My take is that we will not need anything other than some control authority to control and regulate our entries. We can do EVERYTHING else ourselves. In other words, there will be no need for an accountant in the future. At least not when we are talking about smaller companies like mine, with fairly simple accounting. The 10,000 annually I pay to an accountant will disappear. No one will accept this cost in 3-5 years. After all, we do the work ourselves. The same applies to the banking world and probably also insurance. It is ridiculous that I get a call from an insurance man who has to tell me what I need. A smart AI agent knows exactly who I am, both privately and professionally, and can present the correct policy to me at any time at a competitive price. The same applies to the banking world. Revolut, Nu Bank, etc. will win. What do you think?·11.4. · MuokattuAs of today, there are 50,000 open positions at Accenture. Yes. It looks like they're doing poorly!!! It seems they have big problems selling services these days… most are within software engineering, cloud, strategy and AI… all types and lengths of experience are sought … hmmm… thought AI would take all these types of jobs :) nope They are hiring more than ever. The world doesn't work that simply, the IT world certainly doesn't work that simply. IT systems are complex, they are integrated, they are often custom-developed. AI, Claud are tools to make people more effective, new use cases emerge. You can't replace a strategy team with a prompt. It sounds fantastic but in the real world, that's not how things work. I recommend listening to what Jensen (nvda) says about exactly this. Claud and other models will require more people, not fewer. We have our own AI department, it has only generated more jobs than before we had it and all of them are IT consultants of various kinds. Even if you can replace much of what an accountant does with an AI prompt, in enterprises it won't be so exclusive. And… laws and regulations will come. Politicians will ensure that this is used correctly and doesn't take jobs. Chatbots cannot elect politicians. This is a bit like robotaxis taking over everything, EV cars throwing out gasoline cars, solar panels replacing oil. Ok. How has that gone… the world isn't that simple, no. The fact is that most companies want to outsource the headache to companies like ACN… We are a high-tech company. As I said, we have our own AI department. We rent in people from ACN all the time. You can't completely replace humans. There are integrations, there are dynamic thought processes, there are customer meetings… This makes everyone who works with it more effective, not unemployed. People have this totally wrong!!·11.4.I'm thinking maybe it's more about people no longer accepting the prices Accenture comes with, so there's enormous price pressure. Is that why the share price is falling?
- 29.9.202529.9.2025ACN announced a 10% dividend increase from $1.48 to $1.63 quarterly in their earnings presentation·29.9.2025A continued strong dividend growth from the company, one must say. The disadvantage as a Danish investor is that more than 15% is deducted in withholding tax from the dividend - I was not aware of that before I bought, but I maintain my position :)
- 10.9.202510.9.2025They believe that ACC is going to loose in AI competition, thats why the stock price is low. I think this could ne a buy opportunity.
