- 2.10.·Am I the only one who wonders why people would even invest in accounting firms today? In the old days, I used my accountant at least 1-2 times per month. I had various questions that only an accountant could answer. Today, I hardly use him anymore. AI models can answer almost everything for me. In addition, I book almost everything myself, through various apps. Yet my accounting bill is larger than ever. It makes no sense. My take is that we will not need anything other than some control authority to control and regulate our entries. We can do EVERYTHING else ourselves. In other words, there will be no need for an accountant in the future. At least not when we are talking about smaller companies like mine, with fairly simple accounting. The 10,000 annually I pay to an accountant will disappear. No one will accept this cost in 3-5 years. After all, we do the work ourselves. The same applies to the banking world and probably also insurance. It is ridiculous that I get a call from an insurance man who has to tell me what I need. A smart AI agent knows exactly who I am, both privately and professionally, and can present the correct policy to me at any time at a competitive price. The same applies to the banking world. Revolut, Nu Bank, etc. will win. What do you think?3.10.·Interesting reflection – but you are actually discussing banks, insurance and accounting, not the IT sector. Accenture is not an accounting firm, but a global IT and consulting company that helps precisely the industries you mention to handle this AI transformation. It is true that many tasks are automated by AI and apps, but that does not mean that the need for experts disappears. On the contrary – it opens a market for companies like Accenture, which can implement, integrate and tailor AI solutions into complex work processes at banks, insurance companies, retail players and small businesses. Accenture has made this a core part of its strategy: they reinvest over $1 billion in AI and employee competency development, while delivering solid dividends and buybacks to shareholders. So the question really becomes: Do you think hairdressing chains, shipping companies or clothing chains will build their own AI solutions from scratch – or pay a partner like Accenture to do it efficiently and securely? I've bet on the latter.
- 29.9.29.9.ACN announced a 10% dividend increase from $1.48 to $1.63 quarterly in their earnings presentation29.9.·A continued strong dividend growth from the company, one must say. The disadvantage as a Danish investor is that more than 15% is deducted in withholding tax from the dividend - I was not aware of that before I bought, but I maintain my position :)30.9.·You always have to expect to pay taxes. That's just the way it is. You'll make a profit anyway. And the most important thing is the return, you have to remember. Dividends make up a very small proportion of the total profit. But ACN has a pretty generous dividend. That's good! I don't want to jinx it, but I'm happy so far!
- 10.9.10.9.They believe that ACC is going to loose in AI competition, thats why the stock price is low. I think this could ne a buy opportunity.
- 9.1. · Muokattu·Accenture wins case against Danish tax authorities, and therefore does not have to pay 1.7 billion in taxes to DK.
