- ·9.10.Hopefully we can get some life in the trade now with the new analysis from DNB Carnegie. It's only a matter of time before Balco starts up again! There is an (unusually) large need for renovations in the coming years, Sweden was just the first market that happened to have a large need due to the strong housing construction in the 90s where Sweden was at the forefront. Finland - 2026-2034 Denmark - 2027-2032 Germany - 2031-2038 Norway - 2032-2038 The Netherlands has not had such an aggressive construction industry but we can expect stable growth there too. Denmark and Norway are the ones that will be the markets with the strongest growth (during these specific years). These are years where I have expected an INCREASED NEED for renovations. There is always a need, but these years will stand out in each market compared to previous years. Just as the analysis says, we must add the fact that many people have postponed necessary renovations due to inflation and high interest rates. Now is the time to take advantage! Partly to preserve/increase the value of properties, but there are of course more factors that can be considered...

- ·12.12.2024The construction and property market is weak and it may take a few years before interest rates come down to a favorable position for new construction, which lowers the need for batkongs and glazing, but even now it can still be favorable for Balco, as many property companies take the opportunity to renovate in anticipation of investments in new properties. Renovations often result in higher rents as the comfort for the tenants increases, which improves the finances of the property companies.
- ·28.10.2024Signs that the turnaround is here! It is uplifting to see that Balco is delivering a strong increase in order intake in the quarter. With increased order intake, the foundation is laid for increased sales in 2025. "Both order intake and turnover increased during the quarter compared to the same period last year. Order intake increased sharply by 111 per cent, of which 49 per cent organically'. The interesting thing about Balco is the operational leverage in the business. With factories that are only used to 50%, profitability can rise nicely once the sales come. This is definitely a stock to own before the turn of the year.·28.10.2024Just hoping for rek increases tomorrow after the fine report with increased order intake. The report itself was not fantastic but is the first report in a long time where the improved market is visible in the numbers (significantly increased order intake).
