Furthermore, the purchase price was 200 million less, i.e. 3 billion kr compared to 3.2 billion in November when the agreement was signed. 6.7% cheaper in 3 months thanks to the USD fall that has occurred.
·28.1.hm..Why buy shares with direct yield below the bank interest rate and at the same time lend to the tax authorities, while one waits for repayment of withholding tax which can take 1- year? don't know if I'm completely off track..
·24.1.Bought more shares after the overreaction at Q4. Challenging in some markets, absolutely. But also a lot of tailwind and bright spots. Margin up, soon at the margin target of 15% EBITA margin. Probably a new share buyback program of the same size as last year. 3 billion SEK. Free cash flow provides room for that. Probably not a bad capital allocation from Essity to continuously buy back when the stock is valued around EV/EBIT ~10. Possibly some acquisition too, but the question is whether buybacks aren't even better here. If you look at peers, I think Essity looks a bit too cheap given the quality of the company. Trigger? No idea. Probably a little growth in volumes is needed. A bit of patience here, I think one can be quite well rewarded for given the risk, and in the meantime, clip 3,3% per year in dividends. Implemented cost savings should also be visible in the figures soon.
