Remember, it was this summer that things were really supposed to pick up speed, so we are approaching the period where we hopefully get to see even more from GTA 6. But if we turn our attention to the discussions about Take-Two here on Shareville, there is especially one sentence that keeps coming up again and again: “It is already priced into the share price.” The question is simply: Is that really the case? Or is the market still underestimating how big a success GTA 6 can end up being? It will undoubtedly be one of the most interesting questions for Take-Two investors in the coming months. My own assessment is that the market has already priced in a great success, let's just get that straight, but not a historical success beyond all expectations. Therefore, there is also a risk that even a fantastic game like GTA 6 can undoubtedly lead to a share price drop if sales “only” meet expectations, although I believe 110% that they will absolutely smash it. Many investors are precisely discussing whether GTA 6 is already priced in, and opinions are divided. There are two scenarios: Scenario 1: Some things that already seem to be priced in: * GTA 6 will be released on November 19, 2026. * Sales of around 35-40 million copies in the fiscal year after launch. * Strong growth in revenue and earnings in 2027. * A large part of analysts' price targets are around 275-300 USD, which is higher than the current share price. Scenario 2: What is probably NOT fully priced in yet: * If GTA 6 becomes even bigger than expected and sets new sales records. * If GTA Online 2.0 generates extremely high recurring revenues. * If the game is sold at a higher average price than expected or gets very successful premium editions. Take-Two is EXTREMELY good at marketing, they have even gotten others to market the game for them, and the hype is GIGANTIC.
·1 päivä sittenI have bought up in this, I think it will be great. I see a very attractive potential leading up to the launch of GTA VI, and several years ahead. I am convinced that GTA VI will be the biggest game release ever. The interesting thing, in my assessment, is not only the sales at launch, but largely the ongoing revenues from in-game transactions. An angle, which I believe is underestimated, is the target audience. The GTA series appeals largely to an older player base than many other popular games. This can mean a higher average purchasing power among players and thus greater potential for sales of digital products, bundles, DLCs and other in-game purchases. Compared to titles such as Fortnite, where the average age is generally lower, I therefore see a particularly strong earnings potential in the GTA universe. Furthermore, I see the gaming industry as relatively robust against many geopolitical challenges, which in my opinion makes the case even more interesting. It is naturally no guarantee of success, but my gut feeling is good. What do you others think?
