It is important to emphasize that this is not because I myself own shares in the company, even though it "perhaps" might seem that way from the outside. I try to be as objective as possible regarding the numbers and the potential. Many argue that a large part of GTA 6's success is already priced into the stock price ("priced in"), and that is also a view I have previously described further down in the thread. But now the investment bank Piper Sandler has once again come forward with an analysis that largely supports the conviction I have long held regarding the sales of GTA 6 at launch. For me, it is crucial that the sources are in place. I do not just want to throw out numbers or claims without documentation. Therefore, it is worth mentioning that the claim that GTA 6 could sell around 46 million copies at launch on November 19, 2026, comes from the investment bank Piper Sandler. The analysts have reportedly developed the model by, among other things, analyzing activity in the Reddit community r/GTA6 and comparing interest with previous major AAA launches such as GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring, and Cyberpunk 2077. I bought this stock because I'm also a fan of Rockstar, and when I play RDD2 I catch myself thinking daaaamn this is visually wild, the level of detail in general! Add +10 years of development on top of that - I find it hard not to imagine (hope) that it can really take off when GTA6 hits.
