- ·1 päivä sittenIs Lerøy mentioned here? https://e24.no/boers-og-finans/i/zOV3jw/lakseaksjer-i-resultatilden-dette-maa-du-vite– The next step in salmon companies' earnings will depend on whether robust demand can counteract higher feed costs, writes Fearnley Securities analyst Theodor Aleksander Rosenberg in a new sector report. The report comes before the seafood companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange are set to present their second-quarter results, after the sector has been weighed down on the stock exchange by weaker salmon prices and concern about higher feed prices so far this year. Read also These seafood stocks have the greatest upside This week, Mowi's earnings are due on Tuesday, and Lerøy and Austevoll Seafood's on Wednesday, before Salmar and Grieg Seafood, among others, come next week, and Faroese Bakkafrost releases figures on the last day of August. – A solid company to own Rosenberg highlights the latter as a stock favorite before the earnings release, with a buy recommendation and a price target of 540 kroner. The stock trades for 469 kroner. He bases the positive stock view on "strong margin improvement in the Faroe Islands", improvement in the Scottish operations, and "attractive valuation". The Fearnley analyst, however, downgrades the recommendation on Lerøy to "hold" and reduces the price target to 46 from 53 kroner, before the earnings release this week. – We expect that further learning effects will unlock more benefits from Lerøy's investments in shielding technology through the autumn and winter. – Nevertheless, limited organic growth in the medium term and a valuation approaching fair value mean that there is no longer sufficient upside to maintain our previous buy recommendation, Rosenberg states. Bakkafrost is also highlighted as a preferred stock, along with Mowi, by Arctic Securities analyst Christian Olsen Nordby ahead of the quarterly reports. – With record-strong biology in the Faroe Islands, and some bright spots in sight in Scotland, we view Bakkafrost as a solid company to own going forward, he emphasized in a sector report last week. In the report, he upgraded the recommendation on Lerøy, and also Grieg Seafood, to "buy", reasoning that "they have fallen enough, and the risk-reward ratio is attractive". Monitoring costs Rosenberg at Fearnley expects focus on cost and volume forecasts during the quarterly reporting, as well as how companies handle increased feed prices. He expects most companies to signal lower cost per kilo in the third quarter of 2026. Nordby at Arctic believes the most important element is that one "finally sees strong growth in demand". – We estimate that global demand growth has been over 10 percent in the last four months, and that growth is accelerating. - ·1 päivä sittenTechnically positive inverse head and shoulders formation is developing. This week's report will determine if a signal is established........based on stock market development so far, it should be possible, also supported by higher salmon prices in recent weeks.
- ·1 päivä sittenbuy 56kr from ABG, this will be good ;)For my part, I believe in LSG going forward. There are high feed costs and operating costs in general, not least through an insane crack spread on diesel; BUT meat production is much harder hit, as feed costs per kg of produced meat are much higher in agriculture. Salmon proteins become relatively cheaper.
