- ·19 t sittenNew Melody (2019 - Modern Scrubber) On Subs (Estimated Voyage CII: B 🟢) Petrobras AMCL (TCE: RV USD 135K @ 66 days / Actual USD 119K @ 74 days) Today's. This quarterly round should be fun. Good weekend!Google Finance review of 12-month target price for Frontline Plc (NYSE:FRO) based on current consensus data as of August 2026. 1. Summary (Topline Summary) The average 12-month target price for Frontline Plc is $38.09, representing a downside of approximately 3.25 % compared to today's share price of $39.37. Forecasts show a mixed to neutral distribution, where the market largely reflects that the stock has already priced in the strong cyclical rates in the tanker market. 2. Analyst Consensus The general view among analysts is Neutral (Hold). Among the active analysts covering the stock, opinions are divided: there are strong buy recommendations with high target prices, several hold recommendations around current levels, and more cautious sell recommendations. The consensus reflects a trade-off between short-term record-high earnings and the risk of a cyclical peak in shipping. 3. Key Growth Drivers and Catalysts Analysts who see upside in the stock point to the following operational factors: Strong spot rates (TCE): Continuously high rates for crude oil tankers (especially VLCC and Suezmax) driven by geopolitical tensions and changing trade patterns. Lower breakeven price (Breakeven): Frontline has actively paid down debt, which has reduced the company's daily cost level per ship and drastically increased the safety margin should the market turn. Attractive dividends: An aggressive dividend policy that transfers the strong cash flow directly to shareholders, which supports the valuation during periods of high earnings. 4. Financial Breakdown and Valuation Analysis The target price range is calculated based on very different expectations for the future tanker market as well as various valuation methods (P/E multiples and net asset value/NAV): Ceiling (Highest target price): $55.00 (E.g. Gregory Lewis, BTIG) Methodology & Assumptions: This target assumes that the current tight supply side in the tanker market persists throughout 2026, supported by minimal newbuilding orders in the industry. The analyst values the stock in the upper part of the historical P/E and EV/EBITDA cycle, and bases it on an EPS expectation in the upper range (over $8.00 for the year). Consensus (Average target price): $38.09¨ Methodology & Assumptions: The average calculation is based on a normalization of freight rates. Here, a historical average multiple against expected earnings in 2026 (expected EPS around $7.69) is often used, which indicates that the stock is considered fairly priced in relation to the current risk. Floor (Lowest operative target price): $28.33 (E.g. Frode Morkedal, Clarksons) Methodology & Assumptions: This estimate functions as a defensive floor and reflects the fear of a cyclical downturn. If global economic growth pains hit oil demand, or the secondary value of older ships falls, earnings will fall rapidly. The floor is primarily calculated based on a discount to the company's underlying fleet values (Net Asset Value - NAV). (Note: Kepler Capital's older registration of 180 is excluded from this comparison as it was valued in a different currency, NOK). 5. Upcoming Catalysts and Risks The consensus can quickly shift as a result of: Quarterly report August 31, 2026: Actual reported rates, guidance for the autumn season, and not least the size of the next dividend payment will be crucial for whether analysts adjust their estimates upwards. Fleet renewal and newbuilds: Any deliveries of new ships into the global market could increase competition and put pressure on margins in the long term.
- ·1 päivä sittenJohn Fredriksen privat - Seatankers Management - has a total of 10 VLCCs under construction in China. The first ones will be delivered this year and the majority by the first half of 2027. There is reason to speculate that the reason for FRO's eventual sale of 5 ships now is due to an agreement to purchase Fredriksen's new ships. Otherwise, it makes no sense for FRO to sell 5 ships that are generating revenues like never before. As is well known, less revenue also means less dividend.Cf. the news column here, FRO has not sold. Nor does it own VL built 2012 and 2015, so false rumors.
