My advice is: Try to put on the long glasses and don't be disturbed by the daily changes. Then one just becomes uncertain, and it's easier to panic.. which usually leads to bad choices. If we put on the glasses for the almost 3 mnd.ene that have passed of 2026. It looks approximately like this tonight. We started 2026 at 17,64 kr and tonight we write 22,58 kr, an increase of ca.4,94 / 5 kr. Or ca 28.%.. We can say that is fantantastiskt, if we then top it by saying that we will soon receive a small 50 øring per share from MPCC in dividend. Yes, then the start of 2026 is described as a small fairy tale in my head. As I wrote last about the shorting of the MPCC share, I am now only following this with half an eye, p.g.a that the shorterene have drastically reduced their short positions. But they are not forgotten, so we can take a small refresh of the status as of tonight. ACTUS. 0,64% 2,71 mill OCEANIC 0,52% 2,29 mill Total. 1,13% 5,00 mill shares in positions over 0,5%. As a curiosity I can say, that in the 4 years I have been a shareholder in MPCC. So we have been incredibly often among the 1 to 5 most shorted shares in Norway.. The question has mostly been, are we in or out of the top 5 list. And the answer has usually been we are on the top 5 list. Today we are not only out of the top 5 list.,we are out of the top 20 list. MPCC is the 21 . most shorted share in Norway. I call that we are not shored anymore. There are only "stuck" 2 fish in the net, and they are paralyzed to sit iro. ACTUS made its last movement/change on 31.10 .2025 OCEANIC INVESTMENT entered the list 04.02.2026. and has since done nothing. These 2 actors are what I refer to as "small fish" and not so dangerous. They both 2 sit with a paper loss of over 10 million NOK each pr idag. My approx figures Marshall Wace who reduced their position as fast as they could from over3% down to under 0,5% (Finanstilsynets magical limit(, I actually don't believe they just reduced themselves to a pike in the reeds But I actually believe they have reduced themselves to 0 shares shorted idag.* this I cannot prove). Can also add that Marshall Wace and Voleon are the big wolves, the others become little wolf in comparison both when it comes to capital and ruthlessness. Now you have received an update on the short status in MPCC. I thought I would end with a riddle... What is the reason why the "shorter gang" is willing to short the MPCC share like wild animals at 15-16-17-18 kr. But no one wants to short at 19-20-21-22 and 23 kr???? And the headline will be simple. The N.C index sets a YEAR RECORD for 2026. Finally, after 5 times touching the annual record of 1491 points, we jumped past it. The index increased from 1491 points up to 1493 points = 2 points. The rate of increase was 2 points ÷ 5 days = 0.4 points per day. The index in 2026 has increased from 1485 points up to 1493 = 8 points. This gives a rate of increase in 2026 of 8 points ÷ 83 days = 0.10 points per day. The index has increased from 536 points on 3-1-2024 up to today's 1493 points = 957 points or 178.5%.. Then we take the rate of fall for the "downturn" which started at 1551 points on 11-09-25. The fall is 1551 points - 1493 points = 58 points. This gives a rate of fall for the "downturn" of 58 points ÷ 194 days = 0.298 points per day. To put this in perspective, the rate of fall was 0.67 points per day on New Year's Eve 2025. We conclude that the rate of fall for the downturn is gradually decreasing....Brilliant are my thoughts. 13 classes showed an increase 2 classes showed a decrease 1 class was unchanged. This is the best level in a very long time. So more great updates MAY be on the way?? So, some personal thoughts. I guarantee that there was not ONE shipping analyst in Norway who believed this would happen with the rate level. I didn't believe it either, for that matter. I have probably said before that I thought the rates would gradually slowly decline during the 1st half of 2026. Fortunately, I was wrong there, so far.. So, to explain something to avoid misunderstandings. I see that it is sometimes stated that these rates are not so important because MPCC, for example, has 97% coverage in 2026. But that is the day the information comes. Contracts do not run from New Year to New Year. So for the 51 vessels MPCC has, renewing/renegotiating contracts is an ongoing process that happens all the time. My notes show that between 10 and 15 vessels are to negotiate/renegotiate contracts in 2026. The variable number comes from the fact that I don't know what happens when some of the vessels go to D.D. for inspection. But I now assume that everyone understands that these rates are very important for MPCC. With each update, we are that many days closer to the next contract negotiations. And as long as we stay at these great rates, MPCC will continue to be a money printing machine (dividend machine). Now we are sitting here waiting to get new dividend money into the account. And 1Q -26 is soon completed, and revenues have come into MPCC's coffers for the next dividend in approx. 3 months... Just one thought, life is wonderful. Have a brilliant afternoon/evening everyone.
