·6.1. · MuokattuEurope is now dependent on Germany getting its economy up to speed. I now expect that most things will be facilitated for businesses so that they can compete with the USA and China going forward. There will also be a strong continued investment in defense due to the geopolitical situation. I have therefore put some funds into this ETF.Hi Blinken. Do you know if it's advantageous on a general brokerage account to have this in accumulating form or in distributing form? I know the difference between the terms, but when I ask chat gbt, it says that tax-wise it's best to choose distributing.
·8.8.2025 · MuokattuFirst investment in an ETF for me. Not really sure what that means, except that unlike funds, it is traded all day long, and that the costs are generally lower. But then there is the exchange fee (NOK to Euro). But that is a one-time cost (ok, two then; buying and selling)? I'm sticking to the Europe region anyway, even though the US population is probably sensible; I avoid political demagogues, narcissists and bullies like the plague. Funnily enough, it seems that there will be more of the latter. Enough about that. Oh well, have a really good summer weekend! 🙂🍻🥂
9.7.2025Is this a safe buy after going up so much?
I am very positive on European stocks, but the DAX ETF is very narrow. 50% of the fund is made up of only 6 companies and the total p/e is relatively high. I have reduced the DAX in the last month. Take a look at it here: ISIN: LU0908500753 Amundi Stoxx Europe 600. It is in every way more diversified and cheaper on the cost side.
