- ·12.10.Asked AI what else SinterCast's technology can be used for SinterCast's process technology (System 4000) is fundamentally about extremely precise metallurgical measurement in real time. Although the automotive industry (passenger cars and heavy trucks) accounts for over 90 % of today's revenues, the digitalization of foundries and the need for more extreme materials open up completely new markets. Here are the most promising and strategic future areas where SinterCast technology could potentially expand: 1. Industrial 3D printing with metal (Hybrid manufacturing) Aerospace, aviation and medical technology are moving rapidly towards additive manufacturing (3D printing). Sintercast's expertise in microstructure control can be applied here: • Quality assurance of metal powder: In 3D metal printing, the quality and grain structure of the metal powder is crucial. SinterCast could develop measurement technology to analyze and guarantee the metal's structure before or during the printing process itself. • Cast cores for 3D print: Complex sand molds can be 3D printed and SinterCast's technology can then be used to cast CGI in the exact shapes. This combines the design freedom of 3D printing with the strength and low-cost production of cast iron. 2. Wind power and renewable energy As wind turbines become increasingly larger (especially offshore wind power), components are subjected to enormous mechanical forces over decades of operation. • Gearboxes and rotor housings: Traditionally, ductile iron is used in these enormous components. By introducing CGI via SinterCast's process control, turbine heads and gearbox housings can be made significantly lighter and thinner. This reduces the weight at the very top of the tower, which saves enormous amounts of steel in the tower construction itself and the foundation. 3. Railways and heavy transport systems High-speed trains and heavy freight trains require braking systems that can withstand extreme thermal shock without cracking or wearing out too quickly. • Brake discs for trains: Gray iron is used today because it conducts heat well, but it wears quickly and has low tensile strength. CGI combines the thermal properties of gray iron with the strength of ductile iron. SinterCast's technology can ensure that train brake discs are cast with the exact right microstructure to halve wear and prevent micro-cracks. 4. Licensing of software for "smart foundries" (Industry 4.0) SinterCast has already taken steps in this direction with products like Ladle Tracker and Cast Tracker. The future lies in becoming the foundry world's primary data supplier: • AI-driven traceability: By putting RFID tags or optical scanners on every single ladles, SinterCast's software can track the exact temperature, time and metallurgical mixture each individual component has received. This technology works regardless of whether the foundry melts iron, steel, copper or bronze. SinterCast can thus make money from foundries that do not even manufacture CGI. 5. Mining industry and construction machinery Machinery working in mines or crushing stone is subjected to constant, extreme wear (abrasion). • Wear parts in steel and iron alloys: SinterCast's thermal analysis method can be adapted to control the solidification process in specially alloyed white cast iron or manganese steel used in stone crushers, excavator buckets and mills. This provides a more even quality and prevents unexpected material breakage in expensive mining equipment. Do you see SinterCast primarily as a software and sensor company for the smart factories of the future, or do you want to know more about the potential in offshore wind power? Thanks for a summary via AI. If the company is to maintain its development based on its current competencies, one must assume that the company ITSELF to a large extent uses AI to further develop products in continuation of current knowledge. Nothing has been announced about this yet. Let us hope management is forward-looking enough to establish new business legs to stand on. The opportunities look good in my opinion, but it also requires a forward-looking and change-ready management. Let us hope they are up to the task.
- ·9.10.There is something in the numbers I cannot make add up when focusing on the month-over-month difference from 2025 to 2026. The most important figure is presumably how many units have been sold in September compared to the previous months in 2026, in order to evaluate the trend. We are still missing the figure for how many units have actually BEEN sold in September, and how one can then project an estimate for the number for the whole of 2026. I have not been able to find the figure yet.
- ·9.10.Tupy+16.09 % over the last five days Analyst firm XP has calculated that incoming orders will increase Tupy's revenues 600 MBRL 2026 → approx. 1.19 billion SEK 800+ MBRL 2027 → approx. 1.59+ billion SEK 1.4 billion BRL in total → approx. 2.79 billion SEK This likely means that Volvo's new D 13 for the US is already in production and the impact will be huge in Q4. The new production probably covers more than Volvo and this corresponds to approximately 14.4 % of the entire Tupy group's 2025 revenue.Do not forget China, there SinterCast is performing strongly, faw, TRATON and QRXF.
