Hmm. This exact one is going up a lot in pre-market now? The rest of the quantum sector seems to be going down further ... Any insiders buying a lot? Did Trump maybe place a large buy order before he announces that Pentagon is going to buy computers from Quantinuum?

Anyone who has thoroughly familiarized themselves with the world of quantum data? Finding pros and cons of all the major candidates, Quantinuum, IBM, ION Q and Google. IBM and Google clearly the ones with the largest resources. Seems like IBM is going pretty all-in on the development of quantum computers and has a fairly linear plan for how they are going to work towards the goal. Ion Q seems to be the one with the best contracts. Finds on Quantinuum that it has greater capital than Ion Q, as well as more public proofs of technical progress. What do you guys think?

Guuuys 😭😂 It has been quiet here since August, so I figured we should get a little life into the Quantinuum debate again ⚛️🧬 I have looked at the financial statements and the latest announcements, and there are actually several concrete things to sink our teeth into 🔎📚 🧾💵 First, the numbers In Q2 2026, Quantinuum had revenues of 8 mil. USD, a growth of 279 % compared to the previous year. Management expects 28–32 mil. USD in revenue for the full year 2026. At the end of June, the company simultaneously held around 2.1 bil. USD in cash and short-term investments. The growth is strong, but it still comes from a very small starting point. (ir.quantinuum.com) And the deficit must be included: The adjusted EBITDA result was minus 68 mil. USD in the quarter. According to the half-year report, operations used 129.1 mil. USD in the first half of the year, while investments in property and equipment required an additional 39.2 mil. USD. My assessment is therefore that the capital reserve provides room for development, while the path to a sustainable business still requires significant progress 🏗️⏳ (ir.quantinuum.com, sec.gov) ☁️🤝 The Oracle partnership is worth following On August 11, Oracle and Quantinuum announced a multi-year partnership to make Helios available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The plan is to place the system in an American OCI data center and combine quantum computing with existing AI and HPC infrastructure. For me, this is interesting because it potentially makes the technology more easily accessible to businesses. The commercial test will be how much customers actually use the solution and what revenue it generates. Oracle described an upcoming preview of the service upon announcement — so the rollout is a concrete milestone to watch out for 🖥️🧩 (oracle.com) 🧠🔬 September also offered technical progress On September 8, Quantinuum published results using their Helix architecture for quantum error correction. According to the company's tests on Helios, they achieved approximately 4.28 times lower error rate for the tested logical Clifford operations than the corresponding physical baseline, without filtering out failed runs. This is exciting because reliable computations are crucial for usable quantum technology. I read this as a concrete technical advance, while large-scale deployment still remains to be proven ⚙️🧪 (quantinuum.com) 🇺🇸🏭 The financing agreement has a detail one should know In September, the agreement for up to 100 mil. USD in CHIPS funding was finalized. The SEC filing shows that 56 mil. USD was made available around the agreement date, while the remaining 44 mil. USD depends on specific milestones. The U.S. Department of Commerce simultaneously received 2,369,528 new shares. The agreement strengthens financing, but also entails dilution of existing owners 🧾🔍 (sec.gov) 🗓️🛰️ What I am keeping an eye on from here onwards Management continues to target Sol in 2027 and Apollo in 2029. That is the company's goal, and delivery, operational reliability, and customer usage will be decisive for how much value they create. (ir.quantinuum.com) My assessment is that Quantinuum has some exciting technical results and a commercial path that is worth examining further. At the same time, today's modest revenue requires careful consideration of how much future success one is paying for 🧮⚖️ What do you think is the most important next milestone: the Oracle rollout, more paying customers, or Sol in 2027? And what does the company need to deliver before you think the price is attractive? 👀💬

The Oracle collaboration is bigger than first assumed. Oracle's customers now get access to Helios along with Oracle's GPU and HPC infrastructure. Reuters describes it as a step towards making quantum computing a part of the general cloud infrastructure. I hope and believe the market is now pricing Quantinuum, as one of the first quantum companies, that is starting to get a real place in the AI/Cloud infrastructure. The financial report also contained 279% growth, lots of cash. Strong Helios performance, over $120 mil in orders and adjusted expectations. 💪💪💪 Negative: $8 mil in revenue and then they burn money like crazy... it amounted to $600 mil 😳
    It doesn't look good.
