( TSXV: NEXG; OTCQX: NXGCF) (« NexGold » or « the Company ») is pleased to announce further results from the recently announced diamond drilling program, comprising up to 25 000 meters at the Goliath Gold Complex (consisting of the Goliath, Goldlund, and Miller deposits). The drilling program is focused on the Goldlund deposit, with holes designed to infill and potentially expand open-pit mineral resources. The results presented in this news release include 1883 meters of diamond drilling in five drill holes (GL-25-009 to GL-25-011, GL-25-013 and GL-25-014) that specifically infill mineralization areas located within, or near the bottom of, the open pit and generally within the current inferred category within mineralization in Zone 4 (Figure 1; Table 2). Selected drill intercepts from diamond drill holes at the Goldlund deposit in this news release are further detailed in Table 1 and include: 9.30 g/t gold over 11.0 meters (from 232.0 to 243.0 meters), including 64.10 g/t gold over 0.9 meters and 39.70 g/t gold over 1.0 meter in drill hole GL-25-010; 2.31 g/t gold over 21.5 meters (from 238.6 to 260.1 meters), including 30.10 g/t gold over 0.7 meters, 24.5 g/t gold over 0.5 meters and 7.64 g/t gold over 0.9 meters in drill hole GL-25-011; 1.18 g/t gold over 33.5 meters (from 183.5 to 217.0 meters), including 18.00 g/t gold over 1.0 meter and 7.99 g/t gold over 1.0 meter; in addition, 62.30 g/t gold over 1.0 meter (from 226.0 to 227.0 meters) was found in drill hole GL-25-009; 2.34 g/t gold over 10.2 meters (from 199.3 to 209.5 meters), including 15.8 g/t gold over 0.7 meters and 5.08 g/t gold over 0.8 meters in drill hole GL-25-013; and 1.03 g/t gold over 16.5 meters (from 350.5 to 367.0 meters), including 5.25 g/t gold over 0.8 meters and 4.34 g/t gold over 2.0 meters in drill hole GL-25-014; in addition, 28.9 g/t gold over 1.5 meters (from 129.5 to 131.0 meters) was found in the same drill hole. Kevin Bullock, president and chief executive officer of NexGold, commented: «These additional drill results from the infill drilling program at Goldlund demonstrate a strong tendency for gold mineralization at deeper levels of a planned open pit for the Goldlund deposit and strengthen our belief that the mineralization has strong continuity at depth. The results from the drilling program will be continuously used to support our efforts to optimize the Goliath Gold Complex, including the Goldlund deposit. As we continue to drill at the deeper levels of the open pit's mineral resource, we are also gathering information to test the continuity of the mineralization – especially high-grade mineralization – at depths consistent with underground mining. To date, the mineralization remains open along strike and at depth, providing an opportunity for follow-up targets and potential expansion of the mineral resource in these areas in the future.» The mineralization at the Goldlund deposit is generally characterized by quartz veins within subvertical granodiorite sills. Zone 4 at the Goldlund deposit is characterized by broad intervals of mineralized intermediate mafic volcanic rocks with multiple porphyry and granodiorite intrusions. The holes in this news release provide further support for grade continuity in Zone 4 and will help improve the geological model and upgrade confidence in mineral resources in future mineral resource estimates. ·3.2.This is a new position for me and I am extremely excited going forward here. Very unfortunate to not have discovered this opportunity Aug 25 at 80 cents but I sold shares I owned with 5x profit to get this one that has only really done 2x 90 oz mine end of 27 with expansion possible to 300k, A second mine to open at 110k ozs in 28-29 and a possible 400-500k oz company in 5-7 years with min 10 year mine life is the kind of investment I look for with a plan to build, little debt, growth in the pipeline, and good management. I may be early here because this correction may not be over but I will add on weakness as I only have 40 percent of the position I want, so pleasse get much cheaper. There are not alot of new mines opening the next few years but this is one of them. I believe once the producers get priced in to the new metal price reality, the developers are next and this for sure will play catch-up. So pleased to get it and very pleased it dropped 20 percent here to let me in, even though this is the top of the range at the moment for developers. Maybe early, but not wrong. I am in and I expect a lot of upside in the coming years with NEXG, especially next year. GL·6.2.First purchase but now I wait.
