- ·6.5. · MuokattuOk, Kratos finally reports the financial results for the first quarter of 2026 and raises the financial forecast for fiscal year 2026 Revenue: 302,6 MUSD (+9,2% YoY) EBITDA: 25,5 MUSD (+11,3%) Free cash flow: -26,6 MUSD (oh oh deterioration there) What's good then - stable growth - Margin expansion – EBITDA grows faster than revenue - Strong demand in defense But guidance didn't quite appeal to investors It looked like the stock price surged up 6% initially in after-hours trading but has now landed in the red 😏
·8.5.As I see it, Kratos has several exciting things going on, and it seems they often succeed in winning contracts in the various tender rounds. I believe that Kratos will, in the long run, benefit from everyone needing more defense and more drones. But currently, it looks a bit like defense in general has lost momentum. What worries me about Kratos is that I often see insider trading, where management sells off their shares. I don't know why. Maybe there are some clauses I'm not aware of, but it makes me uneasy. I wrote to them, but they never replied. Another point of concern is that 1-2 months ago, they announced a capital increase, where they would raise 1 mia USD by issuing shares. (As far as I remember) This is not good for investors. Finally, they don't really make any money, as they have massive investments. Among other things, a factory in Israel. These huge investments are also a red flag in my book. Based on the above, I have reduced my position to a stamp. So it doesn't matter much if it falls, and yet I'm still in if it were to fly towards 135 usd again. This is not advice, just a summary of how I have understood the news about Kratos. Good evening to all.
