Fantastic news 😊 JUMPGATE ENTERS FULLY FINANCED PUBLISHING AGREEMENT WITH DAEDALIC ENTERTAINMENT FOR NEW MAJOR STRATEGY GAME WITH A BUDGET OF APPROXIMATELY 26.7 MILLION KRONOR Jumpgate AB has entered into a publishing agreement with the German publisher Daedalic Entertainment regarding the development of a new major strategy game for PC and console, based on a well-known brand, with the project name "Galactic Exploration". The game has a total development budget of approximately 26.7 million kronor (2.4 million EUR), which is fully financed through Daedalic and German public support. The game is planned for launch during 2027/2028. The game will be developed in Germany by Jumpgate's studio gameXcite and published by Daedalic. Of the total development budget of approximately 2.4 million EUR, approximately 1.3 million EUR will be financed by Daedalic and approximately 1.1 million EUR through the German grant program for game development. See separate press release dated August 20, 2026. The development financing will be paid out upon reaching agreed milestones in the project until launch and is expected to cover the project's development costs. Game revenues will be distributed between the parties according to an agreed distribution key. The combination of external development financing and German public support provides Jumpgate with significant potential upside from future game revenues, while limiting the company's financial exposure during the development phase. "After the successful launch of Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, we are very pleased to once again collaborate with Daedalic. The new game will build upon the game platform developed for Across the Unknown, as well as the experience from the development project and feedback from players. This game will also be based on a large and beloved brand, and we look forward to being able to share more about the project later on. We continue to execute our strategy with external financing of game projects that cover costs during the development phase, while the German public support allows us to retain a significant upside from future game revenues," says Patrick Streppel, Studio Head of gameXcite and Chief Product Officer, Jumpgate AB. "In turbulent times, it is important to have a selection of reliable and prominent business partners. Therefore, we are especially pleased to be able to continue our partnership with gameXcite and Jumpgate. Just as with our joint game Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, we are now once again working on a second strategy game based on a strong international IP. We will share more exciting news about this in the near future," says Carsten Fichtelmann, CEO of Daedalic Entertainment GmbH. It looks very good :), but it seems like no one understands the significance of what this could mean going forward. It's being sold off cheaply. It should have risen at least 2.50- 3 kr on the latest news we've received this past month.

I don't think people are paying attention when it comes to Jumpgate. I can list a bit of what was mentioned in the report and the Q&A session this morning, and what expectations there are going forward. Revenue is growing strongly. Q2 revenue was SEK 15.4 mill., up 37 % from SEK 11.3 mill. the previous year. At the same time, EBIT was -1.35 mill. compared to -1.39 mill. the previous year. This means they have had significantly higher activity without the cost base running away from them. 2. Star Trek has now passed an important financial point. I think this is perhaps the most interesting part of the report. Jumpgate writes that the publisher's investment in Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown has now been repaid through sales. Thus, gameXcite's share of future revenues will more than double. At the same time, much of the development work and costs related to upcoming content have already been incurred. There is quite a big difference between: "We have a game that sells" and "We have a game that sells, the publisher has recouped their investment, and our future revenue share will be significantly better." The latter is far more interesting for profitability going forward. 3. They received SEK 11.9 mill. in public funding – the same day as the report. I think the market should place quite a lot of emphasis on this. gameXcite has received approx. SEK 11.9 mill. in German public development funding for a new project. The project builds on the technical platform from Star Trek and will be based on a strong IP. This significantly reduces the capital requirement and risk. 4. The pipeline aspect is perhaps more important than the Q2 figures. Management writes that they are now seeing a clear increase in business development activity, with several incoming inquiries and several ongoing discussions about projects with a model similar to Star Trek. Here we now have: * Star Trek has been a commercial success enough for the publisher's investment to be recouped. * Revenue share for Jumpgate improves significantly. * Four new DLCs are under development. * Expansion Pass and first premium-DLC have been launched. * Physical retail version has been launched. * New project has received 11.9 MSEK in public funding. * The Tivola project is financed by Trophy Games + German public funding. * Debt has been reduced. * Q2 cash flow was positive 4.8 MSEK. * The cash balance was 8.1 MSEK at quarter-end. What I like best is the combination Star Trek → better revenue share → lower costs → new DLC → stronger pipeline → 11.9 MSEK new project funding → reduced debt. It's quite a nice chain. And if I were to point out one thing from the Q&A that I would attach the most weight to, it's how concrete Riegler and Bohn were about new projects and how far they have actually come in the discussions. That's where we can get the real repricing of GATE if they start to land more deals. I at least have good faith in this project and that we will see completely different prices towards Q3. And that the patient ones will get their reward. Have a great weekend everyone 😊🎉

A very good summary of the quarterly report and answers to questions from shareholders during today's live Q&A session. Both Florian Bohn and Harald Riegler answered well for themselves and both were optimistic about the future for Jumpgate .;). As they said, Jumpgate is a completely different company today than it was just a while ago. That bodes well for the future ;) P.S. A recording of the Q&A session will be posted on Jumpgate's Website soon for those who missed it now- It is also available here on Nordnet. Just scroll to the Q2 report 2026 on the left side here.

I think it's a positive report;) Q2 revenue increases to 15.4 million from 11.3 million, that's up approximately 37% ;) For the first half-year, EBIT is significantly improved, approximately -1 million compared to -7 million last year. They are developing 4 new DLCs for Star Trek which gives the game a longer commercial lifespan. Jumpgate's partner has been repaid the investment in Star Trek and that in turn makes Jumpgate's financial share of future revenues much better. And another very good piece of news is that they have received 11.9 million SEK in public support for game projects. It will be very interesting to listen to Jumpgate's live broadcast with Harald Riegler tomorrow. I am positive :)

The media also interprets the quarterly report as positive. This is what they write 😊 The media and financial analysts describe Jumpgate AB's quarterly report (Q2 2026) as positive, characterized by a revenue growth of 37 percent to 15.4 million Swedish kronor in the quarter. The growth is mainly driven by the game Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown and increased revenues in Tivola, in addition to the operating profit (EBIT) and the bottom line having improved.Key points from the report and the marketRevenue growth: Net revenue for the second quarter increased to 15.4 MSEK (up from 11.3 MSEK the previous year). Drivers: The launch and sales of Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown as well as progress at Tivola are highlighted as the main reasons. Public support: Simultaneously with the report, it became known that the subsidiary gameXcite has received approximately 11.9 million Swedish kronor in public German funding for a new game project. Improved balance: The company generally refers to a strengthened operational position, improved cash flow, and a healthier project pipeline.
