·2.12.Noram Drilling ended at 32.00 kroner after a 3.7 percent increase. The share has not closed at a higher price since January 23. The share distinguished itself and was among the top seven percent performers on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Over the last month, the share has risen a full 17.1 percent. It also looks good technically. The share shows a positive trend in the medium term, and a further increase is indicated. K: Investtech
·2.12.Could one imagine Noram leasing 2 rigs to its sister company Archer, which has won a 5-year contract for 600 million dollars for land drilling in Argentina? The contract covers 7 rigs, of which Archer itself has 5 rigs and needs to lease 2 rigs internationally. Archer and Noram do indeed have shared ownership in the form of Hemen Holding (John Frederiksen). It would be good for Noram to get its rigs employed on long-term fixed contracts.·2.12.No expert on rigs, but didn't think Noram had MPD on the rigs? How do they handle shipping of rig etc

The number of oil rigs in the USA was 419, up 2 from the previous week, and down 60 on an annual basis. The number of gas rigs in the USA was 127, up 2 on a weekly basis and up 28 on an annual basis. Offshore USA there were 19 rigs, unchanged from the previous week, and up 6 on an annual basis. There were 481 horizontal rigs in the USA, up 5 on a weekly basis and down 40 on an annual basis. There were 12 vertical rigs, up 1 from the previous week and down 4 on an annual basis.
