·2 t sittenThis is not like offshore where one leases for years at a time. Here, contracts are much shorter, where rigs are moved around after wells have been drilled. Noram has better rigs than its competitors, they are more efficient and drill greater depths faster. In recent quarters, contracts have become somewhat longer, but it is quite likely that rigs may come out again. This is where the game starts and what Noram chooses to do, stack warm or cold, which means a lot for the costs, but also for how quickly these rigs return to work. If you believe the world needs energy, then the market in Permian has been tough for the last 3 years, and the question now is whether we are soon at the bottom or not. I believe we have already seen the worst, and that more rigs will come back again, and that Noram therefore should have contracts for its 11 rigs. Then the market must slowly but surely push day rates upwards towards previous highs. We came from approx 10 cents per month for everything in operation to +30 dollars a day. We were down to 3 cents for 9 rigs, 2 rigs out at 25 dollars a day. Everyone then understands that this can be a pleasant journey in the coming years. As far as I have understood, there is minimal capex, nothing major other than normal maintenance
·16 t sittenJohn Fredriksen-dominated NorAm Drilling has entered into contracts for its two available rigs, so that the entire rig fleet is under contract for the first time since 2023, the land rig company announced at the close of trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange on Monday. The agreements for the last two rigs have been entered into with two exploration and production companies with significant activity in the Permian Basin in the USA. They are expected to generate revenues from early March and to have a positive effect on the cash flow.·11 t sitten · Muokattu+30 dollars per day compared to today's 25 dollars All else being equal, we should go up towards 42-43 kr per share
