The share has had a solid period and is trading around 45–47 kroner, supported by increased optimism regarding drilling activity in the USA. 🔎 The most important reasons for the increase: 📑 Significant increase in the contract backlog: In its monthly rig updates, Noram Drilling has presented figures showing that operators in the American land market (Permian Basin) are increasingly willing to commit rigs to longer contracts. This provides the company with much more predictable earnings going forward. 📈 Analysts upgrade to "Buy": Following the stronger rig updates and a stronger US dollar (which improves results measured in Norwegian kroner), Fearnley Securities, among others, chose to upgrade the share from Hold to Buy with a price target of 53 kroner. This triggered increased buying interest among investors who saw significant upside. 💰 Continuous dividend payout: The company, controlled by John Fredriksen, continues its aggressive dividend policy. In July, they again increased cash distributions to shareholders (Cash distribution), which makes the share highly attractive among investors seeking ongoing direct returns. 📊 Strong technical momentum: Investtech's technical analyses show that the share is in a rising trend channel in the medium term.
