The fund seeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Index. 1.2 Investment Policy In order to achieve this objective, the Fund will employ a "passive management" (or indexing) investment approach and will invest in a portfolio of equity securities that so far as possible and practicable consists of the component securities of the Index. The Fund intends to replicate the constituents of the Index by holding all of the securities comprising the Index in a similar proportion to their weightings in the Index. In order to replicate the Index, the Fund may invest up to 20% of its Net Asset Value in shares issued by the same body. This limit may be raised to 35% for a single issuer when exceptional market conditions apply (for example where the weighting of the issuer in the Index is increased as a result of the issuer’s dominant market position, or as a result of a merger).

- ·6.8. · MuokattuOne of the things I could be concerned about regarding WDAF is that South Korea's political direction with this project is that they will invest several billions in its defense industry towards 2030 to become the world's fourth-largest military defence exporter, specifically focusing on AI and self-manned defense. It also appears in the fund's fact sheet that AI plays a significant role in this portfolio, while its prospectus surprisingly doesn't really mention much about the AI risk, the unproven technology risk, and the bubble risk, when we now know that AI is still a relatively immature and unproven technology. Several companies in the portfolio are involved with AI defense systems. It therefore seems to be a political strategy tied especially to wishful thinking about AI's potential. This worries me. This ETF is therefore tied to the performance of South Korea's AI industry, which to some extent must be assumed to just be an extension of the USA's AI industry, which makes this ETF less diversified. Alternatively, when/if the AI bubble soon bursts, I think that WDAF will fall sharply, and that South Korea might stop or rethink its billion-dollar investments, as they risk throwing money into a bottomless pit. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about South Korea's defense industry (industry in general) - or even more importantly - about South Korea's long-term political climate and governance to be competent enough to assess its future prospects and to dare to expose myself to the risk... At least not more than max 5%.
- ·29.5. · MuokattuWDAF is an exciting new product. Asia defense is a topic that is only now starting to appear on the radar of European investors. This is completely new - and it is NOT more Rheinmetall, BAE Systems, Thales, Leonardo . . . AUM in WDAF has grown from almost zero to around €6 million in just a couple of months. But, €6 million is still little! Net subscriptions have been positive. TrackInsight reports approx. +€2.3 million last month and +€12 million YTD. WDAF adds something you most certainly don't have yet - Asia Pacific security policy and defense industry. IDEA: "WDAF invests in actual Asian defense." -strong focus on non-dilution ! WDAF WisdomTree has built the fund around companies that have a significant part of their business related to: defense, weapon systems, radar, missiles, naval vessels, defense technology MAIN FOCUS: Japan, South Korea, India, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia (ex China) These are countries that are now significantly increasing their defense budgets. The countries that are arming up because of China - not China itself.
