·12.3.When setting up a global index fund, one looks at the total turnover in an area and what percentage this constitutes of the global world turnover. Approximately as much is traded in the USA, which is a large area, as in the rest of the world combined. Norway, however, accounts for only around 1 % of the world's turnover, the same applies to Sweden.

·8.8.2025EFTs in USD can sometimes be industry specific and therefore have higher risk but therefore also higher reward. Even though global index funds are overrepresented in the USA and can therefore be affected by the exchange rate, they are not 100% exposed to the dollar exchange rate. However, the question is if you save monthly over a longer period, it really does matter. Otherwise, look at Xact Norden or Xact Sverige high dividend where you have EFTs that are traded in SEK and also have dividends.
