The investment objective of the fund is to achieve long term capital growth through investing primarily in Japan and in selected opportunities in Asia. The Fund will invest primarily in equity and equity related securities (including listed preference shares, listed convertible unsecured loan stock, listed warrants, depositary receipts and other similar securities) of companies which have their registered office or exercise the predominant part of their economic activities in Japan.
