Westgold after a mild break they are on the right track again. Dividends are back and they are going to buy back 5 percent of their shares. Now it is time to sit back and watch the share price grow.

Westgold Resources's share buyback surprises Ord Minnett. Westgold plans to buy back up to 5% of its issued share capital. It also unveiled a new dividend policy for FY 2026, which will see it pay out at least A$0.02/share and sets a minimum required net cash balance of A$150 million. Analyst Paul Kaner says the unexpected buyback highlights Westgold's "confidence in the cash flow outlook of the business but also the value discrepancy versus peers." Ord Minnett estimates Westgold is trading on a price-to-net asset value multiple of 1.1x. That compares to 1.3x for peers in Australia's gold-mining sector. I'VE been waiting on this stock a long time. Highly recommended by many, near term producer 2nd half 2025, and this was the last financing to production which is usually the optimal place to buy if you believe in the Lesond curve - 90 percent return inside 2 years. 1.6 mill ozs and growing, mill built, just a fast track PFE left then ramp up start q1 25 and commercial production q2 25. With the money being made now by miners and this company's market cap at roughly 200 mill an M and A target for sure 1 billion plus. It's my first buy and a good floor at 55 cents so if hit I will add. I think 66 cents or a market cap of 200 mill for a very near term producer was cheap. I owned KANORA RESOURCES which was bought by Catilst Metals, did a 4x after thar, I sold a third of that stock to get the rest free, and that sale now recycled in this stock hopefully for a repeat performance.
