It will be exciting to see how the shareholders receive their quarterly report
    6.8.
    ·
Yes, I'm also excited about it. I think the stock in every way looks undervalued, and that the managements seem to have things under control.

Came across this article from Seeking Alpha: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4928933-low-growth-viatris-is-due-for-a-pullback-after-a-stellar-16-month-run I do not own the stock. But perhaps a good article for those who are invested in the stock.

yaya You asked me about VTRS on the TEVA thread. I looked at VTRS some time ago, and did a SWOT and Porter. TEVA vs. VTRS (SWOT + Porter) An overall strategic assessment shows that TEVA is stronger than VTRS on most key parameters. I looked at VTRS a good 1 year ago, as far as I remember.- But decided to stay in TEVA, and not also buy VTRS.- Nor sell any TEVA and buy VTRS. SWOT: TEVA: Strong specialty medicine (Austedo, UZEDY, AJOVY), margin improvement and global scale. Weaknesses: high debt and price pressure in generics. VTRS: Large cash flow and broad portfolio, but significant Loss of Exclusivity pressure on older, patent-expired products that came from the Upjohn/Mylan merger. Low growth and high debt. Biosimilars are a bright spot, but not enough for structural growth. Porter’s Five Forces: TEVA benefits from scale, lower buyer power (specialty medicine), lower supplier power (API integration) and lower substitution risk. VTRS is more exposed to price-pressured generics and high buyer power, because large insurance companies and purchasing organizations can easily push prices down, as the products are often interchangeable. Conclusion: TEVA appears as a turnaround growth case with increasing margins and a stronger competitive position. VTRS is a cash flow case with low growth and structural erosion. Two different profiles – TEVA with strategic momentum, VTRS with stability but limited upside. From a TA perspective, I have made a ratio-chart. TEVA:VTRS The ratio-chart TEVA:VTRS shows that TEVA has outperformed VTRS at least since the rising bottom Sept. 2019. In the very short term, VTRS has since TEVA's top . 3/2-26 and correction outperformed TEVA, but it will probably turn again.- The moving averages MA50 and MA200 at least point in the direction that TEVA will continue to outperform VTRS in the long term. Here is the ratio-chart on a weekly basis: https://schrts.co/AZmKGNzV

Many thanks for your view on the stock UG. I don't quite understand why you're not looking at precisely the transformation they are undergoing, which if successful will free them from their generic medicine.. They have super many exciting products which will probably be rolled out from now and over the next few years. At the same time, like Teva, they have reduced debt, are now buying back many shares and pay a good dividend.

The debt reduction seems to have tapered off. It has even increased in the last year. It doesn't seem to be as prioritized anymore, and then the dividend might get stuck at this level. Then it will be bad DA.
    13.5.

Yes, I'm also finding it really hard to contain my enthusiasm for this stock.

    ·
Has anyone dug deep into the financial report? I had perhaps hoped for a slightly faster debt reduction. But otherwise, it looks quite reasonable, right?
    27.2.
    ·
As I understand it, they are very close to their debt reduction target, and are focusing on passing capital on to shareholders, with buybacks and dividends corresponding to 50% of the profit. It seems there is a larger item in the accounts which affects this in 2026, I think it was around 600 mill. I bought a few more today, as in my eyes it still looks cheap.
