I assume a consensus price before the drop around 300 usd (300-330usd). I assess the drop in the stock is due to announcements about problems in neurovascular products and joint prostheses. Neurovascular products constitute about 6-10 percent according to my estimate of revenue, but joint prostheses account for approximately 40 percent, if one looks at their division into two large product lines. The drop of about 10 percent in the stock looks a bit drastic and corresponds to all neurovascular products disappearing. They also report problems into Q4, which shareholders are acting upon. They have recalled products which expire April 10, 2027 (according to Lægemiddelstyrelsen's list). But I understand that it was due to battery life on certain devices, but which is also problematic, now that they are being recalled. Problems in joint prostheses are unknown to me, but I expect it is a minor part. However, they have seen slightly less revenue in the summer, which they expect to return. The reason is unknown, as I understand. I would have liked to hear that it was only in neurovascular, because then the drop, in my assessment, would have been an overreaction. Now it remains unknown. Exciting to follow. I will probably add more if it falls much more. I already own the stock. Have considered ZBH as a backup position in the sector, but its growth story and revenue are just status quo and uninteresting.

It must look attractive by now. They haven't lowered their financial expectations further, have they? And if they even report growth for the entire year. If it maintains its price until the next financial report, then one can read if they have continued growth. If that's the case, it should be a no-brainer😁

Stryker has entered into an agreement to acquire ZuriMED, which has FiberLocker technology for rotator cuff repair. The area is a fast-growing segment within sports medicine, and the acquisition expands Stryker's shoulder-platform. The purchase price has not been disclosed, so I am not changing the fair value based on that, but strategically it fits very well with Stryker's historical model: small bolt-on acquisitions of specialized medtech, which can be scaled through Stryker's existing distribution.

New agreement in India. Stryker has announced a collaboration with IAGE on fluorescence-guided surgery in gynecology in India. Strategically good and supports international growth, but economically too small to change my assessment of the stock.

Stryker is one of the world's leading MedTech companies with market-leading positions in orthopedics, robotic surgery (Mako), surgical instruments, neurotechnology, and hospital equipment. The company has a strong economic moat (moat) through high switching costs, technological leadership, and long-standing customer relationships with hospitals worldwide. Key figures ROIC: Historically approx. 20-25 %, which indicates very efficient capital allocation. ROCE: Typically 20-25 %, among the highest in the global MedTech sector. EPS: Management guides to 14,90-15,10 USD in 2026, corresponding to approximately 8 % growth, and I expect long-term EPS growth of 9-10 % annually, supported by innovation and increasing procedure volume. Buybacks: Limited but stable share buybacks, which typically reduce the share count by around 0,5-1 % per year. Capital is prioritized first for innovation and strategic acquisitions. Dividend: Dividend yield around 1 %, but the dividend typically grows 10-12 % per year, which reflects the company's focus on growth. Expected annual return If Stryker continues to deliver as expected, I estimate a realistic long-term return of: EPS growth: 9-10 % Buybacks: 0,5-1 % Dividend: approx. 1 % Possible valuation expansion: 2-3 % This gives an expected total return of around 12-15 % per year over a longer period, provided that the business continues to develop as it has so far.

The company is "completely" still due to an attack and it rises in after-hours trading, crazy, feels like they will have some tough weeks / months. https://www.reddit.com/r/cybersecurity/comments/1rqopq0/stryker_hit_by_handala_intune_managed_devices/
