·30.9.What does the panel think? Is there anything to go after here, or has it reached its peak?
The panel here is pretty much dead as a herring, but here are some thoughts anyway. You are probably onto something. It has started hitting the ceiling for this time. Rising market interest rates and the imminent entry of the new SATS with its 15 % dividend yield will probably dampen the upside potential in STRD in a short and medium-term perspective. I still trade it somewhat, but that is because I operate in a completely different brokerage world than what Nordnet can offer. I like to trade many of these preference shares actively even though they are actually at the other extreme of the shares I normally trade. The range, liquidity and fluctuation frequency of such shares like STRD mean that they are rarely on the daytrader menu for so many active traders, but this year I have often jumped on this one. If you are a more long-term passive dividend-seeking investor, I would still say that it is a fine share to have in your portfolio even though it no longer seems as tempting as some time ago. Somewhat low interest from me, but if it drops to say below 68 again, then my activity in this one will probably pick up a lot again.- ·1.6.Darn, I would have liked to have gotten a bit more agøf of this one at just around 70.5... That would pull my ACB further down and it's already around 74... It's nice enough with 14% not return, it certainly doesn't hurt if one could make it rise by buying more.... 🙂
- ·2.2.Exciting about the financial report in 3 days and what effect it will have on the price of this one. I am inclined to buy more, now that it has fallen nicely again.
