·31.1.To put the correction into perspective a bit. Silver is still up 17% this year. Silverco, despite some uncertainty, has almost followed the metal and gone up 16%. That can perhaps be interpreted as strength, at least I do, Silver's rise in January was probably too explosive; we got a sign of that on Wednesday when silver shot up 10%+, while the miner index only went up 2%. Gold/silver is still a niche market and miners are considered to have high risk, and much of people's money is in tech/AI. I still believe we will have a good year with miners, but for us to get a bonanza over time, we are probably dependent on a crash in the general market., this is in line with some «expert statements». Silver will, as usual, be much more volatile than gold and requires significant discipline from us as inevstorer. None of my stocks turned «red» overall after the correction; this perhaps mostly says that I was early into many. Regardless, the margins for most of these silver companies will be large with the silver price we have today, even after the correction. We hope for a controlled and sustained rise in silver in the coming months.- ·29.1.40 M USD bought deal at 12.50 per share. This results in approximately 6% dilution, which is quite moderate. No warrants, that is positive. This probably explains the intraday drop to around 12 and that the market is price-adjusting towards the issue price. Dilution is perhaps rarely entirely good, but on the positive side, one could say that it reduces financing risk and the company is in the process of growing. It might perhaps provide a buying opportunity now for those who want in.
- ·28.1.Ok. Why did it fall? I'm getting hung up on this sentence: «Nuevo Silver does not currently hold title to the La Negra Mine and it is a condition of closing of the Acquisition that Nuevo Silver complete its purchase of the La Negra Mine.» So there's some uncertainty here, Nuevo Silver must obviously complete the purchase of La Negra before the agreement with Silverco can come into effect. This causes some uncertainty. The market doesn't like uncertainty, so the stock is falling. More regulation, more paperwork, etc. Everyone must make their own assessment as to whether this represents a buying opportunity or if it will go down further, but the bull case scenario and the upside for Silverco are, in my opinion, quite significant regardless of whether this agreement goes through or not.
