(Technical analysis) After closing at 5.18 USD yesterday (a full 11.6% increase), the stock is trading down towards 4.95 – 4.97 USD today (approx. -4%). "Gap Fill": The stock rallied so quickly yesterday that it left a "gap" in the price chart. The market often tends to go back and "fill" these gaps before continuing upwards. Profit-taking after rally: Since the New Year, the stock has gone from approx. 4.10 USD to over 5.30 USD at its highest. Many short-term traders are now selling to secure their profits after the Davos inauguration. Support levels: Technically speaking, we see strong support around 4.80 USD. As long as the stock stays above that level, the short-term trend is still positive (bullish). 2. The fundamentals: What do you actually own? SEALSQ is not just "talk" in Davos; there are hard numbers and significant contracts starting to come in: The cash position is enormous: The company has over 425 million USD in cash. This is an extremely large amount for a company of this size and means that the risk of bankruptcy or urgent cash needs is very low. The India agreement: In addition to the Davos news, SEALSQ has just signed an agreement (MoU) with the government of Gujarat, India. They plan to build the country's first center for quantum-safe semiconductors with capacity for 300 million chips per year. This is the real "heavy" news that can drive the stock price in the long term. The Quobly investment: They are in exclusive talks about buying into the French quantum computing company Quobly for up to 200 million USD. They are thus trying to control the entire chain – from the quantum computer to the chip that protects against it. 3. Analysts' verdict The few analysts covering the company (e.g., Maxim Group) are optimistic: Price targets: Are between 7.00 and 8.00 USD. Potential: If they reach their goal of 50–100% growth in 2026, today's price around 5 USD is considered relatively cheap, despite the company not yet making a profit.
