"Saga Furs C's recent March auction concluded with unprecedented success, marking a significant recovery and renewed confidence in the fur market. The event saw record-breaking sales figures and substantial price increases across all fur types, driven by strong demand from over 500 international buyers. This performance has established a new, profitable price level for producers, particularly benefiting from a robust retail season in key markets like China. Total brokerage sales reached €220 million, a 10-year record, significantly up from €96 million in March 2025. All 3.4 million skins offered were sold, including 3.1 million mink and 275,000 fox and Finnraccoon skins. Mink skin prices increased by an average of 76%, with some types seeing rises of up to 180% compared to last June's auction. Prices for blue fox, a main product, rose by approximately 40%. Over 500 buyers participated, with China dominating purchases, alongside South Korea, Turkey, Greece, and European fashion."

Currently, it is profitable to farm mink, and this will mean a large income for SAGA as they are remunerated by the total sales volume at the auction... The market is reacting with a 15% increase today, but the company is still heavily undervalued with a cash/property holding of 25 Euro, and in addition, a larger compensation could come if the EU bans mink throughout the EU in March.... This could be a turning point for the case with more positive momentum
