Even though stage3 will cost money, NOAP has proven that they can do this. Financing will be an easy matter. And not least, the proximity to the market. There they beat all traditional farmers.
In my opinion, the start-up of stage 2 is not priced into the stock. I understand that other projects, especially ASA and PROXI, have dragged down the entire sector, but it is also naive to believe that no one can achieve this. The technology at NOAP, from Akva Group, has been implemented in many large smolt facilities with good results. The large smolt producer Årdal Aqua harvested a batch of 610 tons of fish to slaughter size this spring, using the same technology. We are approaching a point where the challenges, e.g., with geosmin, are starting to be quite well understood.
·21.7.I have been following the development of this company for some time, and the last four quarters have been encouraging with regard to the development of active biomass simultaneously with increased slaughter volume: Q3-25 2835 tonnes Q4-25 3759 tonnes Q1-26 4991 tonnes Q2-26 5644 tonnes Is the company on the verge of succeeding?Without going into detail, I work in the industry and know most of the players very well, including technological solutions and challenges the different players have had. The only ones I have invested in, apart from my own project, are NOAP.
·26.2.I think the Q4 report shows that Nordic Aqua is really starting to get things working operationally. Production is increasing, the superior share is high, and the biomass is building up well – this indicates good control at the facility. The most important thing now is that they show stable operations and progression towards larger volumes, and I believe they are doing that. With Stage 2 coming online and further scaling ahead, this looks like a company moving in the right direction. To me, this appears to be a clear step closer to delivering on its long-term potential.
