·2 päivää sittenLatest data shows that GLP-1 injection treatment provides greater weight loss than pills. The side effect profile is the same for both pills and injections. Thus, the only advantage of Wegovy pills is that you don't have to be injected. The disadvantage is that you have to take a pill every day, and that it works less effectively. The advantage of the Wegovy injection is better efficacy and only needing a dose once a week. IMAGINE if Nanexa could improve Wegovy, so it only had to be taken 1 time a month or every 3rd month? Nanexa has already answered that question. They have already demonstrated that semaglutide can be given monthly and quarterly with the Pharmashell technology and maintain a very stable plasma concentration of the substances in the blood. https://nanexa.com/mfn_news/nanexa-demonstrates-feasibility-of-quarterly-semaglutide-dosing-with-pharmashell/The study even shows that Nanexa's 3-month syringes provided a more stable plasma concentration than the current Wegovy syringes, which will probably result in fewer side effects in addition to much longer time between doses. As I see it, Novo has no choice. The patents are running out. If Novo doesn't acquire Nanexa, then Nanexa can make their own syringes which are 100x better. Nanexa's Pharmashell platform can be used for almost all of Novo's products (including insulin, which was previously a main product). Unfortunately for Novo, it seems that fewer and fewer diabetics (both type 1 and type 2) will need insulin due to advances in stem cell treatment (for type 1) and prevention/medicine (for type 2). Novo has no choice.

It's almost as if one expects increasing traffic in the nearest future and wanted to have made changes beforehand :) "Nanexa" changed in color tone. Ascendis shut down. Novo will probably still be exposed to something like PharmaShell? And if not PS , then what? DW is not wavering. Faithfully answers investors this morning that everything is as previously announced and neither one thing nor the other is changed by the things that are happening. Ando expired end of Sept. Novo announces things yesterday - and today perhaps? CMD Monday? The site is otherwise down currently. It's almost that in itself that triggered some buying... Wow. It could end up being a dud, but wow there are many things in the air and arrows pointing in some interesting directions.
