Also, three 150-kilogram composite samples from the Fazenda do Posto gold target have been sent to the lab for investigation following up on a comprehensive metallurgical test program for Buti mineralization. These new drill results and initiatives continue to move Lavras Gold toward its short-term corporate goal of defining an economically feasible gold resource on the LDS Project, focused on the Buti Gold Deposit and the adjacent Fazenda do Posto gold target. "We are pleased with the drilling progress we are making at Buti and are achieving our goal of increasing the confidence of the gold resource estimate by converting inferred gold resources into measured and indicated gold resources and expanding the footprint of gold mineralization," commented CEO Michael Durose. Thus, they know how to advance a project to a construction decision in Brazil. They have one project (Lavras Do Sul) on 55,000 acres in Brazil. It has a 1 million oz (.8 gpt) resource that is likely to at least double in size (they have 6 deposit discoveries to drill). They have about $6 million in cash and are likely to drill aggressively. They will need a lot of cash to advance the project, so expect significant share dilution. They are giving guidance that they will de-risk it by permitting the project, although no guidance yet for a PEA. My guess is that we will get a PEA in a few years, but no time soon. Butia is 500,000 oz at .9 gpt and Cerrito is 500,000 oz at .7 gpt. Both are likely to increase in size. They also have several other targets, including known discoveries at Zeca Souza and Matilde. They claim to have 23 targets they want to drill. If this grows into 3+ million oz, the share price is going a lot higher, although I don't know if it will be a 5-bagger. Recent drill holes imply a very large mine. In fact, it could be huge. They think it could be an alkaline deposit. If it is, then it could be over 5m oz's.
