With the bank's nearly 2 billion shares, this totals 67 billion SEK. This corresponds to 23% of today's market capitalization of 296 billion SEK. SB1 raises the dividend forecast for 2026 to 12 SEK per share from 10.50 SEK. For 2027 and 2028, the forecast remains at 11 SEK per share and year. With the share price at 147 SEK this morning, this year's forecast corresponds to a direct yield of just over 8%. Schei Nilsen also raises the recommendation from sell to neutral. Capital is released The increase is due to the bank releasing capital of 3 billion SEK. According to SB1, this increases the bank's margin above the capital requirement by 0.35–0.40%. "The adjustment reflects the capital relief of 3 billion kronor, which increases the headroom above the Common Equity Tier 1 capital requirement," writes the analyst. The dividend could also be even higher. SB1's forecasts are based on the bank maintaining a capital buffer of 2.5 percentage points above the requirement. Management's target is a lower buffer. "If the bank were to approach the midpoint of management's target range for the capital buffer, it could increase our dividend forecasts by an additional 2 SEK per share," writes SB1. This corresponds to an additional approximately 4 billion SEK
And the CEO Michael (who I've always thought made a good impression) bought 10 000 new shares at a price of 147.40 on October 22.
