26.2.26.2.Updated PEA out. NPV is now 2 billion at 4,5 usd copper price. Unless I'm missing something this should be very positive.
26.2.26.2.I think u are missing only share price increasing factors such as this one: “Importantly, 83% of the $692 million increase in NPV8% versus our 2024 preliminary economic assessment study is driven by operational enhancements within our control, including the addition of the high-grade Strong & Harris satellite deposit, material sorting, cement and limestone co-products, and optimization initiatives.” So the copper price doesn’t play a significant role in the new PEA. And by the future supply deficit there will be lot to add to NPV just by the copper price increase.27.2.27.2.Didn't mean to say it's only about copper price. There's one more important addition to the PEA - it doesn't mention directly Nuton tech (Rio Tinto's new biotech for copper production). Gunnison is the top one on their partnerships, and there's more than a small chance we'll see the tech included in the futute in Gunnison's plans. In short, good chance of even higher NPV in the future.- 25.2.25.2.Intereresting to see if the 0.55 level will be breached now that the greenstone offering, institutional offering of one third of the company, is over. There's been pretty tight "tunnel" for the share price starting 5th of Feb, incidentally the news of the Greenstone offering was 5th of Feb...
- 6.2.6.2.I believe Gunnison Copper has huge long-term upside, copper demand is rising, the upcoming updated PEA for gunnison copper project should show a higher NPV than the current one, copper miners are crucial for the U.S. to secure domestic supply, and as a junior miner in a politically stable jurisdiction it stands out, while short-term volatility in both directions is likely. What’s your thoughts?
