USA is second best but if USA does like 1935 and increase gold to 10-20k then risk is big I think even in USA the government will demand a percent of production to support the country's money because it will mean that paper money value is skeptical. Therefore I recommend that those who own metal stocks should gradually sell a little on the way up for example 5 percent of stocks in gold every 500 dollars up and silver every 10-20 dollars up. Even if you do this you will have taken out your investment and more plus own at least 50 percent of your original holdings if it goes well. Canada, USA, and Mexico are top three because if one of these countries tries something the consequences of other trade can be used against them. In most other countries, I expect royalties to go up and stock prices to plummet sharply at least for a while but maybe permanently so we are back to, take profit on the way up. GL·26.8.2025One more thing, with gains from metal stocks I would bet on other raw materials companies like oil, uranium, copper, and other raw materials that have not taken off yet because we are in a raw materials market until 2030-32 and the prices of everything are going to go up but energy seems to be best after 2027 due to AI and data centers that will require enormous electricity in the future and we do not have that. Also natural gas and coal.
·7.8.2025After selling 2 mines, and reducing production (especially reduced silver production), and more focus on Africa, the company is no longer as cheap, on a relative valuation compared to other similar companies (<300k oz/year and ~2 billion USD in market value). The advantage is that it has a good cash flow, so an acquisition may come that improves the situation significantly. Diamba Sud also looks like it could be a good mine, but it will probably take a few years and a lot of investment before it is ready.
