Unfortunately, I don't think for long. Regardless, there will be a large shortage of oil and oil products for several months to come even if the strait remains open. I don't know what the usual length of futures is, but 1 month perhaps? And new futures prices rise in the same way as the spot price. The oil price continues to rise, and the markets have realized that what is spewed out by the cheese puff in the White House is not to be trusted (as if this were something new). We saw this yesterday evening, when the oil price fell due to a statement, but quickly rose back. It will be an exciting day, but unsure if I'm selling anything, because I believe the oil price has only just begun to rise. It will become expensive eventually.
